I would expect a basic warm mist humidifier to cost between $30-50 - at least that's what the last one I bought cost about 3 yrs ago.
Tank is awkward to handle - and I expect the trim/handle on top to break off. The carrying handle is on the bottom, so ya gotta grip it elsewhere to set the tank into the unit.
The directions give no guidance on disinfecting the tank, but they sure do mention it in Maintenance. Tank cap is too small to get my hand in the tank for cleaning, so hopefully daily rinsing will keep it mold-free.
Two settings: the tank holds about 8 hours worth of mist on high.
It is hard to remove the tank without condensation dripping outside of the unit or the pan inside the unit.

This humidifier works well enough. It is a bit louder than I anticipated but not too annoying (increase volume on tv), and smaller than i'm used too (needs filling more often). On the plus side, it doesn't use any costly filters. It doesn't put as much humidity in the air as my old Holmes but so far its not uncomfortably dry here in Michigan in November.

IT WAS EASY TO INSTALL, AND IT HOLDS MORE WATER THAN THE AVERAGE HUMIDIFIER, AND THE PRICEWAS TERRIFIC.
