The BirdXPeller Pro is a sonic device, and can be heard by humans. It has a volume control and should not be used on a loud setting, or the recorded bird calls will sound artificial. We recommend our customers set the volume so it is only loud enough to be heard by other birds outside, so it blends into sounds of nature.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pidgeon deterrent Got this, easy to set up looks good, plugged it in turned it on to scare the pigeons, three days of daytime calls no effect on the pigeons, changed the settings to scare other birds, got questions from neighbors but pigeons remained, scared the doves and bluejays but not the pigeons (flying rats). Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nature is unpredictable I am using this in an aircraft hangar. This unit worked on the first couple of days keeping the pigeons out. The effectiveness is diminishing due to the fact the birds are nesting on top of this unit while it is on. November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works on Brewers Black Birds We tried everything to get rid of black birds in our parking lot. There were so many...and so much white stuff...that tenants were threatening to leave. Within hours of installing this, the black birds were gone. Seems to have about 1 acre coverage. We had to install two units and an extension speaker to get rid of all of the birds. Better then spending $500 a night for pressure washing! February 25, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Bad, But I would try Scare Tape first I bought this in the hopes of getting rid of Woodpeckers that have pecked through my stucco. I can safely say a lot of the birds around my house do not like the sounds that emit from this device. But, I can safely say I think they like the Bird-X Irri-Tape Scare Tape even less, so I would try that first - much cheaper, and I really think it did the trick. You need to know that the xPeller emits a combination of sounds at volumes that are very audible and annoying , so I wouldn't plan on installing it on a patio where you hang-out (though it does sound like birds, so I don't think my neighbors have really noticed it). The IrriTape is a reflective ribbon and I applied it as a "maypole", one of the suggestions on the packaging. I constructed a roof-height (20-ft) maypole out of 1x2 furring strips and stapled 4 5-ft ribbons at the top, leaned it against the house and the birds absolutely HATED it. - so I made a few more. IRRITAPE is VERY EFFECTIVE!!! May 11, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DOES NOT WORK AS DESCRIBED This product DOES NOT DO what the manufacturer says, period. You can not stay in the same location because of the noise. The birds do not pay any attention to it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. May 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product. Very happy Great product. I bought it to repel crows. I had my doubts when I first opened it...but I got the settings right and the birds are GONE. I have 2 other businesses who have since purchased this on my recommendation. You should carry this in stores in Florida. there is a need for it. March 16, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst design The power plug was sideways, so it didn't fit under the covers of my outdoor outlets. The control buttons were miniscule and the directions confusing. After all that, my unit was broken. Out of the speaker came only white noise. If I could give no stars, I would. May 22, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Useless Bought it scare away birds in back yard. Did not work. Returned May 25, 2013
