Customer Questions & Answers

Can I put in my pool?

Someone talked about weighting it in the pool to keep the "eyes" upright. Could someone elaborate?
Asked by: AJCLARK
Yes, they should float but they are also light and will blow away unless anchored with a light weight.

Can I inflate with helium ?

Some areas where the Chaser is needed would be better served by an inflated floating balloon
Asked by: Homer
No, just blow them up. They are plastic.

Droppings everywhere. I strung three of these up with fishing line and within minutes it was working. The birds almost turned away mid flight. I had these up for five months and I never saw a bird around the pool are again. I honestly could not believe how well these work. A great natural/safe way to deter birds. Thanks.

I bought the Bird-X Scare Eye Bird Chaser 3 pack and after 3 weeks I can say they seem to be working. Prior to hanging the Bird Chasers in my backyard I had birds pecking away the wood and paint from various areas under the eaves of the house on a daily basis. No bird problems since hanging the Bird Chasers. Also, the Bird Chasers don't look bad at all - quite decorative.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They work as intended - no more birds! We have tried a few things to keep birds for building nests over our front porch but for 7 years or so now they build every year. We're tired of the bird droppings, broken eggs and even dead baby birds landing all over our porch and when we went looking for an owl decoy, we found these. Cheaper and had better reviews so we thought we'd try them out. We put them up a week and a half ago and there have been NO MORE BIRDS around or on our porch!!! I'm SO GLAD! The only complaint we have is that the stoppers did not close tightly and hold in air well - my husband had to put a piece of duct tape over the stopper to keep it closed.

Just hang them over the cat bowl & they won't come near. Was also using them to get rid of Pigeons in our garage. They are sturdy and seem to last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps UFOs away too I bought these beachballs to keep the birds away and it worked pretty good, but sometimes I see a bird or two hanging out near them daring one another to pop the beach ball. What I haven't seen coming around any more are the UFOs. I wasn't expecting that side-effect. No more abductions!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They Work We've used a balloon chaser for years in a carport to keep birds from pooping on the car. We added one to the carport and put two on the covered patio to keep the birds from getting on the patio furniture. Very good results so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value, and worked better than expected I was skeptical at first, but needed something to keep crows out of my field (about 5 acres), Bought ten of the bird repellers, and they worked great, the number of birds observed in the field was reduced considerably. Surprisingly durable, but two did deflate. If they are moved monthly, they work, if left longer, perhaps the birds adapt. Based on one season, they have worked well, I used 10 balloons in 5 acres. String provided could be stronger, but only had one unit come loose, even in high (gusts of 30 mph) winds.
