The store version is black & has "bird & berries" decor, not as shown. I would like the "sunflower" model pictured here.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stylish bird feeder that wild birds love to use. After setting up this lantern shaped bird feeder on its cable hanger it was simple to fill with a button on the top to release the top to open for seed. Silhouette bird designs adorn the side panels making it even more attractive. It has gone through some heavy storms recently and held together very well. It allows four birds to feed at a time and it attracts larger groups that share the feeder at the same time. September 5, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for the Birds, But I was Disappointed: As far as doing the job it is intended for, it does, and I am sure the birds do not care one way or the other about the color. But I do care about the color! And I am the one who paid for it.....That was the main reason that I chose this particular Bird Feeder! It was pictured on the Home Depot website as a pretty teal or aqua color. As I wanted to give a little brightness and color to my drab colored "Desert Landscaping" back yard {I am in Southern California, in the Mojave Desert} so because of drought and watering restrictions, there is a lot of brown and beige landscaping here, and being from the southeast, I am used to much more colorful yards/landscaping. But we do have oodles of birds here in the desert, which I enjoy feeding! And am using the Bird Feeders to add a little color to the back yard, so I was very disappointed when this Bird Feeder arrived, looking nothing like the one I had ordered. Same shape, same stock number, etc., but it is an extremely DARK Green! So dark that I thought it was black. It has to have very bright sun on it to even show that it has a very dark, forest green tinge to it, but even then, it is so dark a green, that it is still hard to tell that it isn't a flat black! I kept it, but it adds nothing to the color that I am trying to achieve in the yard. However, the birds eat the Bird seed out of it as well as they do the other feeders, so I guess the birds are happy with it. At least THEY benefit from it! But, frankly, I wish I had not bought it and would not have if I had known the color they show it in is completely false..... May 5, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by sparrow feeder This is a sparrow feeder in my neighborhood (clinton twp, MI). The finches nuthatches and chikadees do not hang around long at all can never even see them really only caught one glimpse of one chikadee's in and out run. The sparrows do flock to it in drones and they sit on the perches and eat all day long; I have never went thu seed so fast one day and it is empty. I did not have a problem with squirrels. And the lid stays on you just have to make sure and push the button down and hold the wire taunt when you are pulling the lid all the way down. Oh and the picture is not represented. The feeder is black and has pictures of bird and leaves/branches on each side. Clear would be better to see through the other sides when seed is empty, it would allow viewing on the other perches. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bird feeder is easy to fill, no spills I like how the bird feeder is sturdy and ease of use August 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy hanging, easy refilling, high quality I was looking for a feeder with a steel cable for hanging, and with a lock for the top, so refilling is easy. This is it. It took a little while for the birds to get used to the new contraption, but they are using it now. February 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product! I am very happy with this bird feeder. It is attractive and well-made. I am a sunflower lover, so that is why it caught my eye in the first place. A great price for the quality you get. Easy to clean. Durable attachment line. I hook mine to a Shepard's hook in my backyard. June 22, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love the feeder I've found that using feeders with the "U" shaped perch is best for discouraging squirrels. The feeders with a base attached only gives them something to balance on while eating the seeds but that's not possible with the "U" perch. I love this feeder but it has 2 design flaws. First of all the seed opening is too large because when the feeder rocks it allows too many seeds to fall on the ground (the squirrels don't mind that at all). A simple fix was putting some clear tape across the back of the opening and that worked well. The major flaw is the lid doesn't fit tightly on the base and can easily be jarred loose and pushed aside allowing the squirrels complete access to the contents. I found the problem is the base of the feeder is slightly larger than the preformed groves on the lid. I removed the plastic panels and just using my hands I lightly squeezed on the top of the base to push the metal rim in a little. That worked really well and the top fits more securely. This feeder is a breeze to clean since the plastic panels easily slide out. A quick soak in sudsy water and it's set to go. Please don't think I hate squirrels. I love them but wish they'd eat the corn and seed I put on the ground specifically for them. Unfortunately trying to get into hanging feeders must be a gene they're born with. August 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent We have really enjoyed it. It has been fun watching all the different birds come to feed. I think it is really important to feed them when it gets cold. Great bird feeder. January 22, 2013
