Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wait & See I'm on my 4th feeder. The original one lasted many good years. The 2nd one shattered when it hit the ground because the plastic connection thread connecting the canopy to the main feeder unit failed to hold. I came home to find it in pieces on the ground. I don't know if this was due to a design or materials problem. I noticed other owners shared a similar problem. The 3rd one also shattered after hitting the ground due to a nut which came loose connecting the canopy to the hanging ring. The whole feeder went down. This might have been due to an assembly error at the factory since it comes pre-assembled meaning the buyer has no involvement. The feeders hang 7 feet off the ground from a sturdy birch tree limb in Southern California. As for the 4th one, wait & see. I very much like the triple feeder tubes and general design. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good looking Feeder Bought this feeder to replace my old triple tube feeder made by Woodstream. I like the ports that can be rotated for either seed or thistle and the large over hanging dome to give the birds protection from the elements. I do not like the base which has a small hole that will not let the feeder be base mounted on the Perky Pet Bird Feeding Pole. I had to buy a 1/2 inch conduit pipe to use as a pole. The Perky pet Feeder pole even has a picture of the 329 feeder on the box being base mounted ! Also to disassemble the feeder for cleaning is almost impossible, You have to unscrew the triple feeder port at the top which have small funnels going down into the tubes. I am afraid that I will break something trying to pry up the feeder top from the tubes. This is a poor design. Would give it a better rating if the base hole was made to fit the Perky Pet feeder pole as advertised and was easier to disassemble. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE this feeder I purchased one of these about 10 years ago and I'm still using it.. I found out over the years that you can purchase a replacement dome and base in the event you bump or break a part. I just purchased a second one for my little winged friends. You can put seed from thisel to sunflower seed in the tubes. Do yourself a favor and purchase one for yourself. You deserve one and you will not regret it. I'm thinking about ordering a third one. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Bird Feeder Be sure to tighten all parts of the feeder before filling & you should have no trouble with it. Very easy to fill. August 4, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing Product Purchased the product after reading the reviews--I should have paid attention to the person who said they should have learned after the first purchase. My order arrived at the Home Depot damaged the first time. Upon the second delivery, we installed it, and after only 5 months the screw on the top didn't hold the feeder, and it all fell to the ground and broke into pieces, spilling "all the seeds" to the ground as well. For the cost of this product, I expected better. My old feeder was very similar to this but with a different screw hold on top, and it lasted over 8 years! I've contacted Home Depot to see if they will stand behind this product ... I'm hoping to have my faith restored ... not holding my breath, however. Would not repurchase this product! March 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Triple feeder attracts cardinals Love the seed tray on this feeder. Most birds don't like the safflower seed, which ends up in the tray. Cardinals like the safflower, and eat on the tray, which keeps them safely of the ground. Perfect! June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love this feeder I received my order promptly. I love this feeder and have had one for about 8 years. I ordered another one because my original one had worn out. I received my new one and was disappointed because there were a couple of cracks in the plastic tubes where the perches go in and I worry about seed coming out of there and it cracking further.
