These made deck installation a breeze. I suggest doing the final tighten by hand with a ratchet screwdriver. Torque is very easy to control that way. No twisted-off screws in the entire process. Definite recommend!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 1KenB Great Product but Care Must Be Taken When Installing
The Trex Hideaway fasteners work very well but you must press down hard while screwing them in place so that they sit flush with the joists and the boards are kept tight to the joists. Failure to do this can result in the fasteners (and, subsequently, the boards) having a small space beneath them and they won't sit flush with the joists.
It's also important to limit the torque on the variable-speed drill used to screw them in or else the heads can snap off very easily (making it a real pain to remove if you ever want to take a board up for any reason). I used setting "10" on my cordless drill which seemed to stop it at just the right point. Leaving it on 24 will surely snap the heads of these screws off as they're very thin.
Best thing about these fasteners is that you can remove a deck board without removing others (as is the case with some other clips).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bill There are two different sizes. Make sure you get the right one.
These are a breeze to use, but make sure you get the right size. The way Home Depot lists them online is confusing. Rather that list the spacing in the header they use a three letter product name. Veranda calls for 3/16ths or 1/4" spacing (depending on which of their brochures you read) and Trex 1/4".The smaller Invisi-Fast fastener won't give the right spacing. I didn't realize there were two different sizes until I had bought two boxes and installed one, and I wished I had gotten the larger one. They work great though.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bill Soooo easy to use!
These fasteners a breeze to use and work great. The fastener heads/drill bit are really narrow too, so you can make adjustments/unscrew even after boards are down. They are a little pricy, but not too bad. We installed a 440 SF deck using these in just over a day. Very clean finish. Couldn't be happier.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Biscuits were easy to install and resulted in a great-looking deck
I used pressured treated premium 5/4 decking boards and grooved them on my table saw using a standard width carbide-tipped blade. Installing the biscuits was no trouble. Two tips: 1) You might want to apply stain to the decking boards (including grooves) before screwing them in place. Otherwise, you won't be able to apply stain to the grooves without a fair bit of trouble. 2) I couldn't figure out how to apply the last board with screwing it in from the top on one side.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ronzo Exactly what I expected based on the information on-line
The connectors are working great! they really help to maintain consistent spacing and I really like that there are no screw holes in the decking. My only complaint is that you need to be careful when tightening the screws. it is fairly easy to drive the screw completely through the plastic connector. Overall this is an excellent product and is delivering the results I desired.

I was at first skeptical about buying this product for the simple fact that it is plastic. But the Eb-ty system is plastic too, and twice the price. So I thought I would give it a try. Results are wonderful and much more refined compared to the other systems. I and my neighbor gives a 3 thumbs up for ease of use, system design, and the beautiful no screw deck surface that results with them. Kudos to Invisi fast for the perfect decking system.
