I believe this is the sink I have that came with gray baskets. Both have broken and I have been unable to find others to fit and hold water. Could you tell me if the baskets are available to purchase separately?
Asked by: Anne
Yes they are. We returned the baskets we bought because the sink arrived broken

will this sink work with laminate counters

I am installing laminate counters but want an under mount sink. Will this sink work with my counter
Asked by: dkorn
This particular item number will not mount over or under laminate. There is however another model number of the same sink (larger flange) that can be used with a laminate top, as a drop-in sink.

Any idea on what color sink strainer to get for this model and how to obtain?

Asked by: Tee
go with chrome or stainless. Most painted strainers don't hold up.

Diamond Undermount Granite Composite 32 in. 0-Hole 1-3/4 Bowl Kitchen Sink in Cafe Brown is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 87.

Although I had read reviews and knew other people received cracked sinks, the majority of the reviews were positive. It was the type and color of sink I wanted so I took a chance and have regretted it ever since. My new granite counter tops were custom cut to the curved shape of this undermount sink so when the first one was cracked all the way across the 'hump' between the two bowls, I had no choice but to order the same sink, 3 more times! Home Depot Customer Service was excellent throughout all of this and did expedited shipping to my home, and even gave me a discount on each order. (But I still had to return two broken sinks to the HD store for refund to my credit card, an hour round trip each time.) By sink #4 the HD "Resolution Team" was involved and apparently they requested the Blanco Vendor inspect the sink before shipping and add extra packing but that didn't happen - each sink arrived packaged exactly the same way, with no support or padding in the space under the hump which might have prevented the flexing of the composite material, which caused the cracks - in the exact same place in all 4 sinks! HD sent me return labels for sinks 3 & 4 allowing me to take them to UPS in my town rather than driving to HD for the returns. And they gave me a gift card for my troubles, which was appreciated but didn't really help with the problem of 3 weeks with a hole in my kitchen counter and having to wash dishes in the bathtub, over Thanksgiving too. I finally bought an Elkay drop in sink at the HD store that I thought would cover the custom cut opening, and was the right color, but my granite contractor showed me why that wouldn't work well, because it involved re-cutting a new shape with a lot of grinding/reshaping inside my home with excessive dust and mess generated in that fabricating process. He didn't think I would be happy with the 'make-do'. I had been looking on line for another under mount sink that matched the contours of my cut out, I had not found one that was close enough yet and I was still hopeful that one of the reorders was going to work. After returning sink #5, and spending hours searching on line and comparing specifications I found a similar shaped sink in the grey color on builders.com which I ordered and I am waiting for now as I write this. I'm sure it will not arrive cracked because it is also an Elkay (like sink #5) which was packaged perfectly with foam between the bowls in the 'hump' area, and is being delivered by freight not UPS. Yes, I had to pay $79 for shipping and a little more for the sink but I'm sure it will be worth it to finally get my kitchen finished after a month of this stress and worry - and probably an even better sink because it has a lower divider (hump) between the bowls. We had this sink in our last home and loved it so much that there was no question that we would get it for our current home when we remodeled our kitchen! The sink is easy to maintain. With a little mineral oil, you can quickly get it back to looking brand new again. Our sink has the high wall divide so we can do dishes in either side. We like to have a dish drainer in the smaller side to keep dishes off of the counter when air drying. We love it!!

Whether a product defect or mishandling by warehouse and shipping personnel I fail to understand how this could happen not once, not twice, but three times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking sink! Purchased the sink for anthracite color (dark gray, almost black with sparkling inclusions) which matches well with our black magma leathered granite countertop. The fit for existing plumbing was also a factor. Sink depth is 10 inches for left sink and 8 inches for right sink. We changed to an undercounter mounting, losing about an inch there. The location of the existing undersink drain outflow required no more than a 3 inch total lowering of the deepest sink and only about 1 inch for the shallow side (for garbage disposal installation). This sink worked out great for replumbing the drains and installing the garbage disposal.

The cost was about a third of a new cast iron sink and it actually blends much better with my quartz countertop than a porcelain one would. The color allows the sink to be a classy part of the kitchen rather than standing out like a sore thumb. The shape of the sink has worked out very well and I find I can get larger pots and pans in this sink than in my older style cast iron one. Clean up is a snap with Barkeeper's Friend and the Blanco grates are a must have for protecting the sink and making dish washing easy. Do not hesitate to purchase this sink - you will love it too. I am so very happy with this product!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sink #5 and still trying..... Unfortunately, we are on our 5th attempt to receive a sink that is not cracked. It has been over a week without a kitchen sink. Granite was installed last Tuesday and still no water in main kitchen area. Home Depot has stated they will inspect the sink prior to shipment along with extra packaging to stabilize the sink in shipment yet we keep getting them and taking them back. Blanco states they cannot and will not assist us at this point so we have to keep ordering the item until we receive a sink in good condition. Only alternative is to go to a dealer and pay double/triple the cost. Makes me wonder why companies do not want to properly satisfy their customer(s) and resolve the issue???

Beware when you order on of these sink (only sold online) make sure you inspect closely! Mine was delivered via UPS. I inspected the day it arrived but did not take it out of box. Granite laser measuring contractor inspected the sink to be okay. When granite counter top was being installed the contractors picked up sink and once in bright day light he found an eight inch hair line crack. What was going to be one day without a sink and dishwasher turned into 10 days without due to HD required I return sink before they would re-order. That's 10 miles to home from work, 8 miles to HD to return sink and expedite a replacement. (the first sink took 3 days, the expedited replacement took 4...go figure). Had to re-schedule granite installers and plumber...10 days. But, the sinks nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DAMAGED! This is scary. I see all these 5 stars and wonder if they have used the sink for a good while. Why? As seen by other comments, my sink came in damaged also, So, if damaged by the delivery guy just putting it on my front patio with probably a "slam", I would imagine after having the sink for a while, it will also crack if, say, while cleaning a heavy aluminum pot falls, I'll bet it will also crack the sink. Too bad. Looks a lot better than stainless sinks. Oh, well, back to shopping for a more solid sink
