I have a 2-car garage with one large garage door. The house and garage were built in the late 60s, so it's a "real" door... big springs and very heavy. The electric garage opener is chain driven. Once the single-digit cold hit, the door would go up about a foot off the ground and then close. It got old real fast getting out of the car and "helping" the door up. I read some reviews of this stuff and gave it a try. Since it's 14 degrees outside, I didn't get into the whole "clean the old, dried grease out of the tracks first." I just sprayed this stuff on all the metal moving parts and gave it a try. The door opened the first time and closed just fine. Not sure how long this will last, but I'll take it! I'll wait until the spring to do a proper cleaning of the rails and tracks and then reapply. I only gave it four stars because it does drip when you spray it. Other products say they go on dry... no dripping. Just stay out of the way of the drips and you'll be fine. At less then 5 bucks a can, I bought two.

This product is awesome!! If you have a garage door that is squeaky, loud & noisy each time you open & close it then this will solve your problem. You have to apply it to each moving parts of the door. At first I didn't do that and still heard the loud squeaking noise but then I applied it to the rollers, chains, springs etc and it worked wonders

Garage door was making noise for awhile. This product made it much quieter. It was easy to apply this lubricant.

My garage door binds and kicks and has done so for a long time. It was so bad that I had to push the door down while it was lowering or it would stop. I have tried spray silicone and lithium grease and neither helped. Before calling the garage door company, I decided to try Blaster GDL based on its ratings. It took three applications to the rails and rollers, about half a can. The results are shocking. The door works like it is new. It's just as smooth as can be. I gave it four stars for value because it took three applications and it drips when first applied. If this works for my screwed up door, and it does, it should work for any garage door. Great stuff.
