How is this mounted?

Asked by: ALH

For window boxes: which listed measurment, e.g., "width" or "depth" is vertical depth and which is projection from the wall?

I'm looking for a window box that is between 12" and 18" long (measured laterally, along the wall), with 9" or 10" projection outward from the wall, and with relatively shallow planting depth, only about 6" deep (measured vertically.) But none of your window box planter listings indicate what Home Depot means by width/depth/height/length, nor do your product photos make that entirely clear. In most cases "length" is the longest dimension, and clearly refers to the width the planter covers when hung on a wall or window sill; but the measurements given variously for "width" and "depth" are not indicated on the corresponding product photos or easy to guess.

I have and own 7 WOOD WINDOW BOXES for which I need plastic liners to prevent the wood from rotting due to soil and watering. The inside opening measurements of my boxes are 20 long x 6 deep x 5 high. Would these 18 inch curated plastic boxes fit ,or do you carry any others that would ? Thank you Geri Green
