Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by disappointed Decent chain saw for the money. Powerful to cut with the 20" bar. Chain tightening setup is a little different from most saws, but is actually convenient. The engine doesn't have a primer bulb but starts easily enough. I have probably 30 minutes of cutting and the chain still has maintained it's edge.

When I first bought this saw I really liked it. It was easy to start and was good at cutting down all different sizes of trees. However, after a few months of using it, it started to leak oil. I tried to get it repaired at 2 different shops and within a few uses, it started to leak again. After awhile I just gave up and put it in a tray to catch and oil sitting in the reservoir. I would not recommend it after that experience.

Manufacturer replaced the pull cord after it failed the first use. It has now failed the same way on the second use. Product was highly recommended too.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solo Best deal ever on a chain saw
The saw is made in China...SO WHAT!!! At the special sale price plus free shipping, It was cheaper than renting one. Even at regular price it is a great deal. I am more than happy with my purchase. I don't know of anything I can find wrong with the price to quality ratio. So far so good...

Can't get it to start followed everything even looked on line for help. No fuel getting to the carburetor. No spark at the plug. Called the number for support was told the tech was gone for the day.(really only 1 tech working for this company)
Just going to return it to the store. Not worth the trouble.

May dad laughed when I pulled out this saw. "Should've bought a Stihl," he said. Yet I think even he grudgingly bought-in after hearing the price and watching it in action.
Used to clear long-neglected ATV trail which required a lot of stop and go, moving from one deadfall to the next. After almost 2 full tanks of gas, didn't have any of the warm starting problems other reviewers noted. Started warm over and over again with one or two pulls. Cut mostly hardwood (red oak, poplar, beech), several of which were at least as thick as the 20" bar and some were still wet. Pound for pound I don't think it has the power or torque of a Stihl but had no problems as long as I let the saw do the work and didn't overburden it or try to cut too quickly.
Quality of the chain seems fine. As good as any other low-kick-back, homeowner chain. I was careful to keep it out of the dirt and it's still relatively sharp. Comes with a file. Did have some early problems with slack but it's my experience that most new chains stretch a little. Tensioner requires a bit more effort compared to some of the more expensive saws but it's not bad. And it comes with the tool.
Only real complaints are that it seems heavy and I don't like the toggle on/off switch. In fairness to the saw, I really noticed the heaviness about 4 hours-in, after a lot of work for a desk jockey. The toggle switch I accidentally hit with my glove or a branch a couple times and turned the saw off. Wonder how many other reviewers did the same thing and then struggled with starting again until they realized to flip it back on?
Agree with the other reviewers that this is not a $600 saw. It "feels" cheaper. The plastic doesn't seem as strong, the drive gear looks soft, and it's a bit short on power with the 20" bar. Even the blue color just doesn't feel very tough. A tree professional would probably break it in a week. Might last a couple seasons for someone that heats with wood. But I bought it for occasional weekend trail cleaning and light duty around my suburban yard. If you anticipate similar use then this is an excellent value.
Note - like any other small engine, you will lose performance and lifespan by using old ethanol-based gas without a stabilizer. Particularly important to remember with something like a chainsaw that might sit in your garage full of gas for a year or two until the next tree falls.

Out of the box preformed great if you follow the starting instructions. Cut four large pines and the saw would not start when hot. The exhaust is in the front of the saw and tends to catch the bark of the trees your sawing on fire. Don't waist your money it's junk.
