It's very similar to opening a medicine bottle. Hold the bottle with one hand, with the bottle sitting on a table. I have read the back of many bottles of hardwood/engineered wood cleaners. They all state do not use on worn floors. I do not mean to clean raw floors, but badly worn ones.

Answer:
As long as there is a finish on the floor you can use the cleaner, it can also be used by damp mopping wet the pad and mop. If you have other questions please contact Bona at 877-289-2662.
