Plant arrives on time although it was almost had dead with a stem and a couple of leaves it was planted in a very loose soul and a couple of roots that were attached to it were turning dry
I had ordered this along with another plant, (tomatoes) that too was is a similar state upon arrival).
Both of these plants are beyond revival despite of the care that I tried.
I even tried approaching the local Home Depot store wherein I spoke to the guy in charge of the department. Enemies he couldn't offer any reasoning or suggestion that would have contributed to rectify this issue. The only thing that he stated was that maybe these were the leftovers/ weak saplings that just couldn't survive the journey and thus the eventual transit into the new environment.
Only only take from this experience is that sometimes it's good to really see and choose when it comes to buying plants that are just a week or two old or are a sapling. Go to the local nursery, look and choose the plant that one wishes to buy.
No point in making a plant endure a long travel time when there is an alternate choice available.
A sad experience.

Long delivery time, but plants arrived securely packed, healthy and easy to plant. This plant has grown strongly from date of planting, with nice green foliage and no sign of any issue. Temps have been in the low 100's.

Plants were young, short, without bud, sturdy and well rooted. They were mail order plants, even!
