Product Overview

Our Bonnie Celebrity Tomato plant is an award-winning variety that gets rave reviews. Celebrity vines bear clusters of large tomatoes that are prized for their flavor. This is an all-around, dependable choice for your "basic" tomato needs: sandwiches, slicing, snacks and salsa. Gardeners love that the plants are quite resistant to disease, too. Dependable, strong vines benefit from the support of a cage or stake to keep them upright, especially when loaded with fruit. Celebrity is sometimes considered a semi-determinate plant because it grows to a certain height (3 ft. to 4 ft.), yet continues to produce fruit all season until frost. Plant arrives in a biodegradable pot with a well-established root system and hardened off for easy transplanting in the garden.
  • Winner of 1984 all-America selections award
  • Plant spacing: 36 in. apart in conventional rows, 24 in. to 30 in. in intensive gardens or 1 plant per 18 in. - 24 in. container
  • Resistant to verticillium wilt (V), fusarium wilt races 1 and 2 (F), nematodes and tobacco mosaic virus (T)
  • Ships in a 4 in. plant-able, biodegradable pot by jiffy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from help!! I love bonnie plants and use several varieties. This year I added celebrity and jet star and they look bad, all others are great but these two. Thought not enough water then maybe too much. Leaves are curled up and look dry but soil is not! Any ideas?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best tomatoes ever! My tomato grew to a size of a small tree in just a month. In two months I was picking the most flavorful tomatoes. It is truly a remarkable tomato plant.
