How tall and how wide does this grow? And is it suitable for a house plant? How big of a pot should I use to plant it in?

Asked by: Sam
From what I have read online, mint tends to take over where it is grown. .... This is why many people plant it in pots - to contain its vigorous spreading. ... That being said, the size of the pot should be as big as you can comfortably deal with in whatever situation you want to grow it. ... For example, a pot a foot wide and a foot deep would NOT be too big. ... If I remember correctly, mint can grow as tall as three feet or so, ... and, as I suggested, as wide as you allow it to grow. ... It is a rhizome, and so any part of what you think is a root remaining in the soil will produce another plant. ... That's why it spreads so vigorously, if I understand my information sources correctly. ... As for its suitability as a house plant, I see no reason why not, if given the required light and moisture.
