I love this tub. It is just the right tub height but, for economical reasons, would like to use a wall surround. Or, is the Bootz tubs strictly for tiling only?

Ape,
Box dimensions are 16" high x 62" long x 32" deep. You can always use the home depot "Load and Go" program if it will not fit in your car.

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 147 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by inspect before installing Four things to mention, 1: Watch for factory blemish repairs (porcelain paint) straight out of box. 2: Look for porcelain not baked over all exposed areas (bare metal showing at edges). 3: At spill over hole the vertical drain is blocked by soundproofing material and had to be carved away to fit properly. Very important if you purchase the drain plug kit as it does not account for the added setback with any extension capability. 4: Bent edging along side of front panel (this wasn't due to fabrication, just poor handling). This product had issues with two different tubs, as I returned one, and am dealing with other... February 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking tub This bath tub looks great. Good price and good quality. It's 14 inches tall so it's good for taking shower as well as taking bath. July 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't drain completely The tub looks nice but I'm not sur that will last. I made sure to check the finish before installing and looked to be sur th orner edges would drain. Some people mentioned in reviews that th slope at the upper corners caused water to not drain. The edges are ok but the bottom not very far from th drain dips so the water pools. Others mention this, too. I'm sure it will cause water stains eventually. I don't like the idea of having to "dry" my tub before I get out September 15, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Built-in base is a problem if your floor is not level and flat This tub could be a great tub with the right conditions. It has a built-in coated styrofoam base, so a mortar base is not needed. This is great if your floor is level and flat (like a plywood base floor). However, my foundation is concrete, which was neither flat nor level. I ended up having to cut off the tub base using a vibrating cutter in order to have the tub level up without a big gap between the floor and the flat side of the tub. I used Great Stuff foam between the tub and the floor for support (be sure to fill the tub after setting it to keep the foam from lifting the tub up). I also found that the styrofoam insulation around the overflow hole kept the tube from seating well, which resulted in leaks. I had to remove the insulation in that area and apply silicone caulk to stop the leak. So if your foundation is level and flat, this tub is five stars. If not, save your money and buy a cheaper tub without the insulation and built in base. A tub without a base will make your installation job much easier. September 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Slightly shorter than advertised but what isn't these days? Easy to install. Holds water. It's a bathtub. Works great! May 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for the money Consulted some YouTube videos from "tilemasterga". By following his recommendations I had no problems installing this product, and it looks great and I have no reason to believe it won't last for years to come. Don't cut corners. insure your walls are square and you level the product properly, then you won't be disappointed. April 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bath tub a very nice gentleman who was very helpful in my selection. He answered all my questions that I asked completely and exact. A good example of a true professional and KUDOS to him for an outstanding demeanor and being so polite and cordial. Sincerely Olivia the green thumb of katy September 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality porcelain. We have had this tub less than 2 years and it is only used when we have guests. Total times used maybe a dozen times. It now has at least 5 pits on the surface that goes through to the black metal. The trouble with a poor quality tub is that it is very difficult to remove when the walls are tile. We are going to see if we can get it recoated. August 21, 2016
