does the tub come with the drain kit? if it doesn't, what drain should I get?

Asked by: mike
No. And when I asked my plumber, he said the pvc drain kit is better. Doesn't corrode. Lasts longer.

Can you install ceramic tile above this tub?

I would like to replace our current tub and wall shower unit with this tub and put ceramic tile above it. Is it possible with this tub? I noticed there is a lip on the top edge of tub, can you simply put wonderboard flush with that so that tile can be place in front of the edge of tub on the back and both ends?
Asked by: Ashley
Yes you can, I did

Mauicast max water depth

Does the Mauicast tub have the same max water depth as the uninsulated version of the tub. I assume this would be 13 7/8" based on the height of the overflow above the drain but this contradicts a prior answer from Bootz support.
Asked by: Royale
My ruler shows about a foot difference between the bottom and the overflow. It's about 14" to the top ledge.
