Answer:
This was the widest one I saw. I have used wider chisels with bigger hammer drills but I think the width of the chisel is related to the size of the drill.

Is this bit suitable for chipping away at a concrete patio?

I have a concrete patio I'm looking to remove. I have a circular saw with a diamond blade I can use to cut through most of the depth.

If I score out squares of the concrete, could I use this bit to help chip up the squares and remove them, or is that too much?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent chisel I needed to make a 12 inch deep hole that was 36" long and 18" wide. This chisel was great for this. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wide Chisel great accessory for my sds drill Awesome chisel just keeps on going and believe me when I say we are hard on our tools and it is still keeping up no problems very happy with this purchase :D April 28, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bosch chisel It worked ok the chisel broke the first day but was used for bout 2 hours pretty hard but could have been more durable September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did an excellent job. The chisel did an excellent job. It was a little slow going at first trying to make a line to score and break and then I changed tactics and started working from the edge and breaking off pieces. It worked much better that way. July 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dat Chiz Dis Chiz did some serious werk! Had some stuck forms, put her on my bulldog and Chiz Chiz Chiz away! July 14, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by High use is good I've gone thru 20 of the HS1425. They wear better than any competition but all fail at the same point. Chisel wears down to 1/2 the blade length. Then the chuck end brakes 1/2 way between the end of the long slots & the short grippers. Every one is the same. After 6,000 1/2" X 9" holes w/35 Dewalt bits which never failed it seems the HS1425 has a problem. I love the chisels but would like longer life. April 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent for tile removal I used this to remove porcelain tile that had been glued to OSB with what appeared to be construction adhesive. Nothing else would bust the tile loose. A hammer and chisel had gotten me nowhere. I then tried a rotary hammer with the Bosch tile removal chisel. That chisel would wedge underneath the tile but would not pop it loose. Finally, this chisel did the trick. Its strength and wedge shaped tip allowed me to break up the tile as it slid underneath. At the end of the job the chisel displayed little wear. January 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by met or exceeded my expectations This product was used for removing tile off a concrete floor. Although not as wide as I would have liked, it worked with great ease. February 18, 2014
