What is the crown width, 1/4" or 7/32"

Asked by: Yofishy
Thank you for your question. The Bosch STN150-18 uses 18 gauge 1/4" crown staples manufactured by Grip-Rite, Hitachi, Porter-Cable, Senco and other equivalent manufacturers.

1-1/2 in. x 18-Gauge Narrow Crown Stapler is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect product absolutely perfect. Don't change a thing. It's lighter and smaller and works perfect. Never jammed after hundreds and hundreds of shoots.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Jams often and lacks power If you are the weekend warrior then this is a good gun for the $$. But if you are planning on using the gun every day at least 8hrs a day then stay away.. The gun is nice and light compared to the spotnail, but it will not sink 1 ½ staples in Melamine. On a 8hr shift of shooting all day I find my self unjamming the gun at least 10 times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny! Bought this stapler after getting fed-up with the plastic retaining latch breaking on my other staplers. Bosch being new to the air tool market made the choice difficult between the STN150 and the Hitachi. Since I've never had an issue with any of my other Bosch tools I gave them a go. Out of the box, I had a slight air leak but a few drops of air tool oil corrected it. Ran 7500 staples through it the first day putting in lauan underlayment and never ran into an issue. The second time I did have a couple jams due to operator error. If you don't press the contact tip down all the way (since the staple is so light) you will get a jam, you also have to clear the next staple. The next staple gets one of the legs kicked out that allow the gun to fire but doesn't feed until it's cleared. Other than that, a top performer in my book and a great addition to the shop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not quite perfect This nailer is compact and easy to hold and use. I like all its features except there is no belt clip. Nothing major but a feature that should be included. I put the stapler through it paces in plywood and white oak. It handled everything well except when trying to put a 1 1/2" staple through a piece of 7/8" white oak. It went in past an inch but not farther. Plywood didn't have that issue with the 1 1/2" staple as it was buried in the plywood.
