It should. I used it in my little Craftsman hammer drill that goes up to 1/2". Not much luck with the bit though...

Sure does, put it right into my regular-type hand-tightened chuck on my Black and Decker Firestorm hammer drill. Really decent bit.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. You can use these bits in a regular drill/driver, however to achieve the best performance we would recommend using the bit in a hammer drill. The vibrating action that you get with a hammer drill is what aids in the bit drilling through the masonry.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 36 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great bit, did its job effortlessly I used a different, cheaper brand bit, and it was blunt halfway through my first hole into a concrete slab (and took over 5 mins). This one felt like it was drilling through butter - maybe 30 seconds to drill each of my 4 holes, and looked like new afterwards. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Excellentperformance. Did thejob so fast I couldn't believe it. Outstanding. August 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 1/2 IN. X 6 IN. BLUE GRANITE TURBO CARBIDE HAMMER DRILL BIT Was not overly impressed with this drill bit, It did not hold up very well. May 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent Drill Bit Purchased this bit to drill some holes into a concrete slab to add some wedge anchors. I needed to drill (5) holes that were each 2-1/2" deep. I was not overly impressed with this drill bit. I got through (2) holes and by the third hole it was really struggling to dig in. I ended up finishing with a cheap-o concrete bit that I had purchased from the off-brand tool store. I'm giving this item 3 stars because on those first (2) holes it really worked well. But, I don't think that I would recommend this item because for the price, doing (2) holes out of (5) just doesn't cut it. Next time I'll probably end up buying a few cheap-o bits. January 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor performance Drill bit will not drill into concrete that has rocks in the mix. Will carry this drill back to the store for refund as it is not useful for me. April 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as you would want it to Drilled a lot of concrete holes and it did fine. I would recommend it. March 8, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Believe The Hype Used this to drill into one of those big grey wall stones. I had to drill 10 holes about 3" deep. I drilled one hole 3" deep and this bit was toast. I finished the job the next day with some cheapo no name masonry bits I had in my toolbox. I don't think the cheapo bits were even made for use with a hammer drill, but they got the job done quickly. I'm very disappointed in this product. If I could get my money back I would. February 1, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not so good... I needed to drill 4 holes into my concrete patio for a project I was working on. First I bought a cheap Hammer Drill Bit and didn't quite make it through the 2nd hole before I seemed to hit a wall. I decided just to run to Home Depot to buy this bit to finish the project and then maybe have it for the next project as well... Nope. Didn't even make it through 1 hole before this bit was chewed up. The original bit still looked better than this one after doing twice the work. I never did finish that 4th hole. :( December 28, 2015
