Can you use this bit in a regular drill (non-hammer)?

I just need to drill a 1" hole through some stone veneer and am wondering if I can use this bit in my regular drill since it will be such a small job.

You might be able to but hammer bits are meant to make big aggressive holes. I have not had a lot of luck with hammer bits and non-hammer drills.

I am installing a pool cover which requires that I drill 20 holes 3/4 inch wide and 2 inches deep.

Thank you for your question. You can use these bits in a regular drill/driver, however to achieve the best performance we would recommend using the bit in a hammer drill. The vibrating action that you get with a hammer drill is what aids in the bit drilling through the masonry.
