Product Overview

Bosch Daredevil table and miter saw blades offer a thin-kerf, extra-hard steel plate with laser-cut body slots to reduce noise and vibration and improve cut quality. Triple-sharp, Bosch C4 carbide teeth power through wood, plywood, and other building materials and provide extra long life. Speed Coat finish provides added speed and avoids binding in treated or wet lumber.

  • Extra-hard steel plate resists bending and deflection
  • Thin-kerf design provides fast cuts and less waste
  • Expansion slots control blade warp
  • Control-cut shoulders reduce kickback

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Makes clean crosscuts, doesn't last long enough Accordingly to the manufacturer instruction this blade purpose is to cut a plywood and hardwood.... Don't think so! My project was to install 1400 sq.ft. of strand woven bamboo flooring and I've purchased this blade for cross-cuts. Initial performance was great, cut were clean and effortless. After about a 100 sq.ft. performance went down, the blade started to burn the wood and it didn't feel like a sharp blade anymore. The interesting thing is that the blade still feels like it is a sharp one if you touch it with your hand, the blue coating on the side of the blade looks like almost a brand new, and at the same time it wouldn't cut! I guess, it is not usual for the Bosch brand name, but it is what I see. Well, I went to buy another brand 50-tooth combination blade from woodworking series for a half of the price compare to Bosch and that blade had completed the rest of the project, which was approximately 1300 sq. ft. Conclusion: The manufacturer for the bamboo flooring that I was installing states that this material is twice harder compare to red oak. So, I don't know how to measure the difference between that bamboo and red oak, but it does feel like it is a very hard to cut material. Well, anyway.... If I have similar project I wouldn't buy this Bosch blade. There are 10-inches blades that are less expensive and more efficient than Daredevil.
