Answer:
Yes/maybe. The diameter of the cutter hole is ~3-1/2 inches. I don't have the inserts readily available to measure. I don't think you could safely use this without an insert. Check with mfg to see what inserts are available.

The face plates are adjustable. The maximum fence opening is 3 and 3/16. There are pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate that match up with the Porter Cable 690 fixed base.

Answer:
UPDATE: So I but the bullet and bought this router table. It is exactly 27" and fits perfectly between the rails of my Delta contractor table saw. The slots in the outer edge however, do not line up. Modifications are required. Modifications do however void any and all warranties. Make sure you're happy with the router table before cutting into it.

Why Bosch deviated from the standard table plate size is beyond me. Bosch does make an attachment that bolts to the table (RA1165) to allow height adjustment from the top but it only has 7/8" movement and is limited by what routers it will accept.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. We have not tested the Rockler Lift FX with the RA1181 router table. The mounting plate will work with several manufacturers routers. If your model does not match up with the pre-drilled holes you can mark off and drill the holes in the mounting plate to match your router.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 85 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Review of Bosch 120 Volt Corded 27" X 18" Router Table After reading many reviews I selected the Bosch Router table as "best of breed" for the money. Believe me, I studied this for a while before making my purchase. I also went through several You Tube videos and was aware it took time to assemble this table. First, and much to my disappointment, the router table top and legs were scratched. It would have been impossible for the retailer to make the scratches because of the packaging so let me assume that Bosch send out the product on a day when their quality inspection team was on vacation. Second, and very important, is that there are a number of screws. It took me longer to determine where the screws went than it do to do the assembly. Why in the world would you not package the screws by the area in which they are destined to go rather then put them all in a single bag? Lastly, I will say that Home Depot was receptive to make everything right and agreed to take the product back with a full refund and a discount, but the time I invested in putting the table together helped me to decide otherwise. Bosh, I spend a lot of money on tools and accessories. I'm in Home Depot 2-5 times a week, but this is the last product of yours that will adorn my workshop. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Must Took some practice and experimenting with different depth and bit settings-In the end did a fine job. August 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Product. Good construction and I found it easy to assemble. Recommend purchasing an additional fixed router base for your table. You don't want to be taking it on and off the table. Take care installing the machine screws into the router base. One of them bottomed out before it was tight. Of course I forced the issue and broke the screw head off. Luckily screws came with the base as well as the table. After extracting the broken stud, all went together fine. July 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as advertised Table was easy to assemble and instructions were quite clear. Table delivers on what I wanted! August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Should have bougt one years ago! Assembly was a snap. My (Bosch) router bolted right in and the whole unit is still super-light. I C-clamped the front legs to the workbench and made two cope and stick doors the same weekend. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by route table It was a little difficult to assemble the first time. the instructions were good but leveling the router plate was time consuming. I took my time doing it and it took me a couple of hours to do it. August 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bosch bench top router table It is very good price for router table I can use this to learn how to use router, router bits and router table. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great sturdy table. Purchased to match the Bosch router. Tedious to set up, especially the leveling of the router mounting plate. Table electrical switch has two outlets, so I plug the router into one, and the vacuum into the other, so one switch turns both on. It's twice the size of my old table for my 40 year old craftsman, so it doesn't move or 'walk' when I am cutting. Holes in plate for other brands. My old craftsman would fit in this. July 12, 2016
