Will this unit break up a concrete foundation?

Asked by: Gerry
If you are referring to alarge concrete slab, footings, or walls, you would be better with a larger tool/machine. However to trim up areas this would be a good choice.

DOES IT COME WITH BITS

Asked by: BOODY
No bits at included. You can get many SDS MAX bits at Home Depot and Lowes. If you are removing floor tile, I would also recommend purchasing a thinset removal blade

After attempting to remove 6"x6" quarry tile installed with thinset on a concrete surface, using a Bosch electric jack hammer and a Wolff machine called The Turbo Stripper, I purchased the Bosch demolition hammer. Using the 2" tile chisel worked very well. However the 1" chisel actually removed the tile (and part of the thinset) better. After the quarry tile (1/2" thick) were removed, I rented a concrete grinder with the diamond grinders which removed the grout to the bare concrete. The total man hours to remove 800sf was 32 man hours. I am elated over the preformance of the Bosch demolition hammer. It saved me about 40% labor costs of my bid (a local bank)

Bought this drill and used it for about 30 minutes, and the seals broke on it. Oil and grease were every where on the drill and the operator. Luckily, Home Depot took it back, and unfortunately, I had to buy it from RAM tools since I needed it right away and HD had to order it and it would not get to me for a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing demo hammer We bought this demo hammer to take up tile and thinset. The tile and thinset came up easily as this thing packs a punch. My laborers did not tire out as this hammer is ergonomical and lightweight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chips great We use these at work to fix those unfortunate times when the concrete sleeves are in the wrong place. So we bring out this bad boy to whack smash the new sleeves into the proper spot. 10/10 for automated whack smashing. Very heavy unit though, which is nothing for me because I'm mad strong. One love folks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and Powerful Using the Bosch 11321EVS for overhead concrete demolition. User comments are great tool, lightweight, easier to maneuver, good punch for the size. Usage so far. 7 hours per day straight for last 5 days. Used for overhead concrete removal with bull point and chisel bits. No hiccups in performance of tool. Superior to Hilti TE75, T-500 Equal performance to Hilti T-700 Easier to use and comparable to 15-17 lb pneumatic hammers due to superior control and less fatigue to users. Minor design points. Plastic cover on bottom of hammer which is often impacted if dropped is of concern. Power switch inside handle maybe should be moved to a location not gripped by hand for even better usability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price, features, performance, and weight This is my third Bosch Demo Hammer. I have loved every one of them and still use each of them. I have used other brands and have found that the Bosch line has great power and reliability for the money. I use these for extended periods when chiseling tile or other materials off floors. This model works great all day due to the low weight and the high bpm (2900). I have also used it to demo concrete and rock with no issues. This is the best all round to do demo for the price and weight. The 9.6ft-lb impact will get you through nearly anything with a low weight unit.
