Excellent design, made replacing a cemented post lamp that broke off at the surface of the cement a piece of cake. I'm a homeowner and have never worked with cement. I tried to drill holes with my bosch hammerdrill but could not crack the cement with a heavy iron spike after four hours of striking the cement. I bought the 14 amp Bosch deomolithion hammer and was able to not only break up the cement, but also dissected the cement around the outdoor romex which was embedded in the cement by the professional who installled the post lamp 19 years ago. I did not damage the wiring which indicates that the hammer is very precisely controled. Without this tool I could not have completed this installation. The multiple blades available will make this tool very versatile.

Light weight, small and doesn't hurt your back like the larger ones do. Gets any job done just like the 60 pound ones do. I recommend this item to anybody that is looking into buying a jack hammer.

W have used 3 of these hammers for over a year now, and they still performing great.
We used these hammers on several projects where we wanted a lot of power, but were greatly hampered by the working space that we had. These hammers have more than delivered; despite working almost continuously every day for over a year, we only have had to perform regular lubrication and maintenance of them. Two months ago, at the end of our last project, I took them to the Bosch Service Center, and the only parts needing service were 1 power cord and a couple of lubrication services.
We took them out again, a month ago, and they are still performing as new.
As a construction company, we know of all the other brands that provide similar tools, but Bosch stands out for durability, resiliency on the job, and when needed, exceptional service.

We specialize in ADA adaptation of existing concrete. This type of work requires a lot of chipping. I bought my first one in 2010 and the second in 2014 . We've never had a single problem the first still works as well as the newer tool.

I still have the model 11220 that this newer unit replaced, and it is Tough!
My milwaukee burned out twice, but this guy won't quit.
We just broke up some concrete that was supposed to be 3", but
turned out to be 7" thick, and hard. This crazy little breaker just
kept going like the Big-Guys, and saved me a long drive back
to the shop for more horsepower. Keep them TOUGH Bosch,
and I will keep buying them. Make them China-cheap and I am gone!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jasper1247 I couldn't find a better deal...
This tool is a professional tool to say the least. For someone like me, a home owner trying to save labor costs by doing it myself, this particular tool saved me a great deal of time and back ache. I was able to break up an old concrete foundation, posts set in concrete, and dig our water line out buried in hard soil. This tool enabled me to handle it all on my own. Bosch makes a fine demolition tool... and it's only 22 lbs., and that alone... Made My Day.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cancon2 Good punch
Great power vs weight ratio. Great for horizontal and floor hammering. Must be a strong guy to handle for above head work. Currently used for 320 hours. Serviced twice for worn brushes. No other problems. Equivalent to or better than a 17lb air hammer. Cheaper to operational cost than an air hammer.
Similar or better punch than Hilti TE700. Good value in class performance.
Brushes wear out too fast. Ergonomic design not as good as Hilti TE700
