I've been running this saw on and off for over a year. It's an amazing saw considering it's size. Very powerful for both ripping and cross cuts with a pretty good dust removal system. The only drawback I see is the fence. Would have gladly paid more for a "rack and pinion" system. Aligning prior to a cut is often frustrating as it tends to straighten out when locking so it's not a positive slide. I'm learning to "deal with it" and check after each move. Other than that, it's a pleasure to use.

Purchased this online after talking to a HD associate--he was right; this is a very solid, well-designed saw. It's hefty, but Bosch has put lots of handles on it so that you can still lug it around. I also bought the GTA500 folding stand, and together, these make a surprisingly stable unit.
I'm especially impressed with how smooth and precise the saw is; in addition, all of the attachments appear well-manufactured and each has a place to stow them for transport.
The only exception is the guard; this is made from transparent plastic and allows more lateral movement than I would like. Other than that, a beautiful piece of equipment.

The only trouble that I have had with this saw is getting super accurate blade angles, and the not-so-great miter gauge. Other than that, this saw is powerful, and does not bog down on any material that I have thrown at it, including African Mahogany, pine, oak, and various hardwood plywoods. I use the Diablo 80 tooth 10" blade with it, and cuts very well and leaves clean edges, with no detectable blade wobble (after startup is complete). Light enough to carry, and the removable equipment is nice to have, even if you don't use it.

I watched a friend using this saw, he let me try it out, and I immediately was taken in on the saw. So I just had to get one! I love the weight, the power, all on-board extras, and the accuracy of the fence right out of the box. This is the best saw I've ever owned! It ripped through a piece of 130 year old barn wood that was heart pine with no effort!! I can take this saw anywhere I go and I love it.

Great saw overall. But some materials in its construction are not fit for purpose. Solvent unexpectedly removed the scale markings so now must set rip width manually with a tape.

Have been looking at this saw for awhile, and finally was tired of hauling and setting up my dinosaur Bosch 4000 series with the Rousseau stand. Had seen several of the smaller saws showing up on jobsites more often. Especially with the cabinet installers. Debating between the yellow one and the Bosch, I chose the Bosch based on my experience with their older model that I had used for years. I have been using it daily now since 5/14 on the job. So here are the things I like about it; it's light weight and with the stand it's easily set up and ready to go. With a set of collapsible saw horses and a piece of plywood you have an extension table. So far it has handled everything I have thrown at it. The way everything tucks away when it's time to go and storing it in my truck is great. It takes up a little less than half the room that my 4000 did which is great.
Now the things I don't like about it; although its fence is accurate, it's not as easy to work with as my 4000 or the yellow one's (always wondered why Bosch has not come up with a system that operates as well as theirs). It is not a soft start, but have gotten used to the 0-3500 rpm in a nano second. Now the throat plate insert for the blade, wow I didn't know they made metal that thin. It is really flimsy and will bend easy. Have to be careful whenever I have to change blades. That's the best you can do Bosch.
Overall I am satisfied with the saw and would recommend the saw to others. Did I mention the portability of the saw.

This is my second saw. The first ones fence broke within a couple of uses. The fence has plastic guides that will crack if you are not careful. The overall quality is poor.
