Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 38 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great but not the best Very portable very light very powerful room for on board storage for every component on the saw making transport a breeze blade height adjustment is smoothe and works well my only 2 complaints are that the safety brackets around the blade feel very flimsy and cheap for a Bosch tool and the jig that comes with the saw is cheap and doesn't slide smoothly All in all a great tool there's a stand you can buy separately for 80 bucks and it is well worth it makes the saw very stable potable and looks great too. This is my first table saw I must note and could be the other brands are complete garbage compared to this but in not sure The ends of the table saw extend April 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautifully designed Purchased this online after talking to a HD associate--he was right; this is a very solid, well-designed saw. It's hefty, but Bosch has put lots of handles on it so that you can still lug it around. I also bought the GTA500 folding stand, and together, these make a surprisingly stable unit. I'm especially impressed with how smooth and precise the saw is; in addition, all of the attachments appear well-manufactured and each has a place to stow them for transport. The only exception is the guard; this is made from transparent plastic and allows more lateral movement than I would like. Other than that, a beautiful piece of equipment. July 10, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific and powerful (for it's size) saw; I've been running this saw on and off for over a year. It's an amazing saw considering it's size. Very powerful for both ripping and cross cuts with a pretty good dust removal system. The only drawback I see is the fence. Would have gladly paid more for a "rack and pinion" system. Aligning prior to a cut is often frustrating as it tends to straighten out when locking so it's not a positive slide. I'm learning to "deal with it" and check after each move. Other than that, it's a pleasure to use. December 25, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Little Saw The only trouble that I have had with this saw is getting super accurate blade angles, and the not-so-great miter gauge. Other than that, this saw is powerful, and does not bog down on any material that I have thrown at it, including African Mahogany, pine, oak, and various hardwood plywoods. I use the Diablo 80 tooth 10" blade with it, and cuts very well and leaves clean edges, with no detectable blade wobble (after startup is complete). Light enough to carry, and the removable equipment is nice to have, even if you don't use it. February 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great saw, very happy with it i have had this saw for awhile and love it. perfect for my garage shop. only issue i have is the fence in not perpendicular to the table top. not to sure how to fix that though. December 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Tool The saw is well made and sturdy. No plastic here, except for the blade guard. The bevel scale needed some adjustment but the blade settings were dead on. True to the Bosch tradition of German engineering, the unit is very well designed. It takes a minute to attach the blade guard and kickback pawls, but once you do it a few times it's very intuitive. It's nice that everything disassembles and stores under the table itself. Once you retract the blade below the table the unit is very compact and easy to transport. It also safeguards all of the adjustments as well. The motor starts with a roar, but is smooth and powerful once running. Not inexpensive, but a quality tool that will last a long time. All of my tools are DeWalt brand, with the exception of my Bosch jigsaw and now this table saw. I like DeWalt, but their portable table saw is not designed and manufactured at the same level as this Bosch. November 22, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Portable Saw!!! I watched a friend using this saw, he let me try it out, and I immediately was taken in on the saw. So I just had to get one! I love the weight, the power, all on-board extras, and the accuracy of the fence right out of the box. This is the best saw I've ever owned! It ripped through a piece of 130 year old barn wood that was heart pine with no effort!! I can take this saw anywhere I go and I love it. July 28, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Good but seriously defective in material Great saw overall. But some materials in its construction are not fit for purpose. Solvent unexpectedly removed the scale markings so now must set rip width manually with a tape. August 8, 2014
