I just bought this saw yesterday. You may say 'how can he write a review already?' I've been using this exact table saw at work for the past 6+ years. Of all the table saws I've used over the years, this one is absolutely the best. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth every penny. I can't wait to start my new deck (one of the reasons I bought this saw), and begin using this at home. Kid in a candy store :-)

I bought this saw about 2 months ago, I decided to go with Bosch since I have owned other Bosch products in the past. As with my previous experience I am very happy with the performance and quality of Bosch products. The Gravity Rise stand is a must for this saw and I plan to buy the Bosch mitre saw with its matching Gravity Rise stand.

Although this is probably the most expensive portable table saw on the market, it is worth the money. It's very well-designed. Not many saws have a rear splitter that travels up and down with the blade. This one does. The blade is also easy to change. Even with the stand, it's light enough to lug up a flight of stairs. The stand itself is a marvel of engineering. Build quality is top-shelf. The motor has a nice soft-start feature, and the fence locks on tight. Like any portable saw, this one needs outfeed stands in order to break down large sheets safely. Outfit it with a high-quality narrow kerf blade, and order a TS1005 zero clearance insert from your local Bosch parts supplier.

Super top quality contractor saw! Great deal at $499 on homedepot.ca ....Way better than any store price I could find.
The table top and fence are really solid and super accurate!
The gravity rise stand make transport and storage a breeze. It really folds up nice and tight.. There is storage for everything built right Into the body and frame of the saw, so no need for hunting for an extra blade or your mitre attachment. The soft start feature on the motor is a nice touch as well. The motor is quite loud so ear protection is a must. The saw is equiped with a dust collection hook up for your shop vac. It's works well but you are still going to get alot of dust from the cutting deck that will cover your work area.
Overall I would highly recommend this saw to anyone in the market
It will stand up to both the handyman and builder/contractor alike!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ilovewoodwork Expensive with accurate ripping fence
This table saw has a very sturdy and well made ripping fence and cuts quite well. It is a really good product for cutting straight and 45 degree bevels/angles. Real good table saw and doesn't "kick start" like non soft start table saws do. Only problem is the rip fence handle is too short so it is hard to adjust.
Otherwise great saw
