Where is the on board stowage for the wrench? I have a CS10 but cannot find a slot for the wrench.

Asked by: kevin
Thank you for your question. The new style CS10 comes with a rafter hook so it does not have on board storage. The previous generation did not have a rafter hook so the wrench was stored into the top handle. If you have the new version with rafter hook the wrench just needs to be stored in the carrying bag. Hope this clears up the confusion.

Thank you for your questions. The riving knife is only found with table saws. For circular saws, it comes with a lower guard for protection. For further information please contact 1-877-BOSCH99 (1-877-267-2499).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best 7-1/2 saw on the market! I've been using this saw on a weekly basis for the last three years. No other saw I've owned in the last 20 years has held up as well as my Bosch. I love the visibility, and this thing has a great sight-line while cutting. The motor has been rock solid, even after some hard use cutting a bunch of 8/4 hardwoods for 90 minutes straight. It's comfortable, it's powerful, and it's RELIABLE. I don't know what else you could ask for! Will recommend to anyone. 10/10!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 8 outa 10 Great all around saw. Needs 2 improvements to be a 10...a light and make the depth and angle lock levers out of magnesium so they won't break so easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really like it! My father owns this CS10 saw and I have used it quite a bit. I own the cs5 and I happen to prefer my saw but only for a few minor reasons which are just personal preferences. I prefer everything about the CS10 to my CS5 with just a couple of exceptions. One exception is where the front plate hinge is mounted to a plastic arm which can flex more easily than the all metal hinge on the CS5. Many brands have an arm which is an extension of the plastic body of the saw and motor housing which extends to the front hinge of the plate and can flex and the body and blade of the saw twist in relation to the plate when putting downward weight on the saw while pushing it through a cut. I've used many brands of saws which flex worse than this one as well. I have learned to get square cuts with the CS10 simply requires moving the saw through a cut with mostly forward pressure since there is no reason to apply downward pressure unless you're making a cut with a dull blade and then you deserve an out of square cut. The other exception in which I prefer the cs5 to the cs10 is the left blade design and that is just a personal preference. Over all the CS10 really works well for my father and me. I really like the rafter hook along with the stops for depth and bevel. I also like the baseplate material and design. The sharp squared edges work great with straight edge guides. The controls are very well placed and designed and it is a great tool.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flimsy footplate hinge major issue This CS10 is the third circular saw I have owned over 40 years. The first two were less expensive direct drive saws. Compared to the old saws, the Bosch has more cutting power and is easier to adjust. The Bosch feels quite heavy, maybe that is due to the bigger motor. The fatal flaw for this saw is the flimsy plastic hinge on the footplate. The hinge flexes during cutting, which causes the blade to wander. This makes it hard to saw a straight line without a guide. Compounding this issue is the cutting guide notch at the front of the footplate doesn't seem to line up with either edge of the blade, making accurate cuts difficult. A minor problem is that the detent for 2x lumber doesn't provide a deep enough cut. I chose the higher priced Bosch based on their reputation for quality, I should have purchased a different saw...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value saw Purchased saw because I liked the features and Bosch name. Haven't been disappointed. I've used it to cut 2x's and used a metal cutting blade to cut metal roofing panels. Performs well. I like the angle and depth detents as well. Depth guide is very handy as is the hanger that's built into handle. Only concern is the plastic handles on angle and depth set bolts. I worry about their longevity, but we shall see.
