I've had these tools a year now and I love them and highly recommend them. I'm a plumber and I use them for all different uses. Their batteries are what most impresses me, they last like 3 days on constant work and it's kind of amazing.

I'm really impressed with this purchase, I've been using this drill combo regularly, and they've always come through. I was also impressed by the longevity of the batteries they hold a charge fora very long time, that I like. I'm not sure I'd change anything on this combination impact/drill. I'd have to really think about that :-) keep it up Bosch. Next item I want to purchase from Bosch is your top of the line compound mitre saw.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by trumphman Powerful and compact
I bought this to replace a Ni-Cad powered cordless drill I have used for years mostly to drive screws. The impact driver is much more compact to get in tighter places and much more powerful. The drill is also physically smaller than my old one which also allows it to get into tight spaces. Combined with the lighter weight, longer lasting battery and faster recharge times of both tools this set is a winner. I bought this kit because I was about to install a new kitchen. Having the drill set up to drill pilot holes in the maple and the impact driver to run the screws saved a ton of time.

I haven't used these tools much but the little I have used them they are great. I had another brand drill/driver and the torque couldn't even compare to the driver. I use it for taking out hex sheet metal screws out of steel. This thing doesn't even hesitate like my other brand and the battery is still fully charged. I tried using the driver for hex screws that drill and thread themselves but that seemed to take forever. I used the drill with 3/16 bit first then it worked great. I think the should have another faster speed for the smaller size drill bits. If any thing changes I will update review.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KenW very good tools, battery lasts a long long time
I have been using these tools for about 2 months now and have found them to be very good. The drill has handled everything that I have thrown at it and just keeps on going. The impact driver is so powerful that you have to be careful that you do not strip out the screws or drive right through what you are trying to fasten. The best part is the batteries, they last all day and provide enough power that these tools are as strong as any corded tool with no cord to get tangled up. I also appreciate the ergonomics of these tools, they are well balenced and fit very comfortably in your hands. I have a smaller 12V ID made by another manufacturer, but find myself automatically grabbing the Bosch because it is more comfortable to use.

Bought this set this weekend to rebuild a deck. I only had to charge one battery for the entire 12 hours I was working.
The impact driver put ever screw in place without fuss. Everyone using the tools was amazed with the control that this tool gave. Another competitor tool was brought to the site and nobody wanted to use it. It was Bosch hands down.
The drill delivered awesome power.
This is the first professional grade set I have owned, and I wont go back. I am looking forward to owning all the Bosch 18v Lithium tools.

Bought my first Bosch combo tool (24v Drill/Saw/Flash Light) over a decade ago. It was the best investment i ever made because i still use them to this date. Yes, the batteries are still holding its charge. Recently, i was volunteering at a local school and one of guys noticed my gear which started the conversation about Bosch producing 24v drills. He picked up my drill & said you need 2 hands just to use this drill. I said i've been using this drill since 2001 and you just develop muscle memory over the years. So he hands me his Bosch 18v drill & i was like whoa! This is almost as light as my toothbrush & with a built-in flashlight . So then i bought my new set of 18v a week later however It's hard to part with my 24v so I still carry it around for the heavy duty jobs.

Unequaled quality. This was the first high end combo I have bought. It is worth the investment. No problems and I have owned them for two years.
