Answer:
Thank you for your question. The Bosch PB120 and PB180 both have two-5 watt speakers so you will get the same sound, they have the same features. The only difference is the type of battery it accepts (12v or 18v). The runtime will be longer with an 18v battery. The 4.0 18v battery will power the radio for two days, the 12v battery runtime is one day.

Answer:
I only have the 18 volt version so that would be hard to answer. My thoughts are that the next time you're in Home Depot ask a salesperson to hook up both radios see if it sounds better then the other

Answer:
The radio will not charge an MP3 player. This radio has an auxiliary in port that you can plug in an MP3 player to play the music through the radio but it will not charge the unit.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great sound for its small size This radio has great sound for its small compact size and is perfect for my workshop! Because of its size it can go just about anywhere, especially if you use it with the Bosch lithium-ion battery (sold separately unfortunately). I also love the AUX option to plug my phone into and listen to my music. Overall an excellent product! September 3, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Does not come with battery Well, I guess I blew it getting this one. I couldn't find the information listing for it and it didn't say anything about it not coming with a battery with the info for it on my list. So I can only give it a Fair rating until I get Bosch 18V battery operated tool with an extra battery. From what I could find just the battery & charger to use this radio is around a hundred bucks. And that's too much for me just to use the radio. So I can not recommend this radio, unless you already have some Bosch 18volt tools and an extra battery for it. August 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid Solid SOLID First impressions: this thing is solid. It felt like I could throw it against a brick wall or toss it in sand and have absolutely no issues. This radio is also very compact and sounds really good for how small it is! The handles on this thing make it extremely easy to grip and toss around the job sight, and reception with the antenna is better than expected. It is also rubber and not a metal antenna so I'm not worried about it bending too bad or breaking. There is an aux input in the back and it also came with a cable. You can run it off of batteries or if you have several bosch tools that require 18v batteries, this will work PERFECTLY for you. And one battery will last you a few hours on full volume. I would recommend this radio just for its durability! January 2, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Powerful, compact radio I wanted a small, compact, light weight radio to listen to while working in my garage. The radio's sound is very clear, whether listening to it in low or high volume. It is a nice looking radio. I like that it doesn't have a slew of buttons to try and figure out how to use. I love the large mute button in case the phone rings. I haven't bought the power pack yet because I am currently using it near an accessible 110v plug. It was extremely easy to plug my CD player into this radio as well. I really like this small but powerful radio! August 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Little Radio This is a great little radio. My only complaint is that the batteries are so expensive. Even if you own a full suite of BOSCH tools and have a spare battery, you may not want to have it draining down in your radio. I would have paid a little more if it came with its own battery. I think it also would have liked a USB port to charge my AUX device playing through the speaker. Overall, I would recommend you go with a bigger, full feature radio, such as the Bosch PB360S, because this one will need to be upgraded sooner or later. August 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tons of sound from a lightwieght box..... One of the hardest parts about construction is weight, Everything is big, bulky and heavy, Anytime I can cut weight out of my tool load I'm happy to do it. This radio is compact, lightweight but has tons of sound. Plenty loud to be heard on a jobsite over the other sounds of saws and drills, hammers, nailers, etc. The sound quality is also great, sounds just as good if not better than my home stereo unit, Its amazing that so much sound can come out of such a small lightweight box. It has a jack for my phone so I can put on an internet radio station and listen to music for hours on end. I bought a velcro strap for it so I can hang it up just about anywhere. Also runs on 110Volt or 18 volt tool batteries. It will run on a tool battery for almost 4 full days. It's a quality product made by a quality company known for their tools. September 24, 2013
