Answer:
It does not have a Ipod connector built into the unit. It does have 2 AUX connectors, one inside a cover and one outside. The one inside has a velcro strap that will hold your device inside a water/dirt proof cover. I did read that some of the larger devices might not fit inside the cover. The retainer measures 2-3/4" high by 5" long and has a foam pad on the door.

Hello Bill, I’m Newf from the Home Depot’s how-to Community. Thank you for your question.
Any audio device with a 3.5mm jack including an iPod will connect to this unit.
As for batteries, other brands of cordless tool batteries have incompatible mounts and do not work.
I hope this helps,
Newf.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bosch Power Box I bought this radio on sale for a work radio mostly and occasionally when camping. In the shop it holds its own, competing with the noise. Not that I move ot alot, it's on the heavier side and volume doesn't go real high as my reason for 4 stars. Good purchase otherwise. October 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible This makes a better extension cord then a radio. After a year and half this radio no longer works. It sits on a table indoors and hasn't moved. Just stopped working. After the first month the sound loudness weakedned noticeably. Just bought both the big and little Milwaukee radio. August 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by pretty decent, but a few minor shortcomings Feels like a very well built and rugged unit. Volume seems like it could be louder, especially when using auxiliary connections. Overall, pretty good full sound. The "digital media bay" seems poorly designed, especially in a world with larger smart phones. My old school ipod barely fits inside and trying to wrangle wires and the velcro strap is just a pain. I usually end up setting my ipod or smartphone on top of unit. Also, the usb port did not work with my ipod interface. It only charged it. Lame.... Radio reception is adequate. I wish there were separate buttons to choose which source rather than have to press the source button multiple times to select what i want. Overall a good stout unit, but would probably not pay full price for it (i bought it on sale). May 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rocken Jobsite Radio This Radio has a lot of great features 1 sub woofer USB port SD card slot 2 stereo Aux input and 1 stereo preamp output, 4 AC 120V outlets, sinks with you ipod or load your favorite songs on a SD card and listen to them. Use the preamp output and connect it to a car sound system or larger amplifier. You can crank this radio up it is designed to be heard over any and all shop tools "it's got lots of head room" December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Awsome Radio But I love all the features Great Radio....The LCD screen though cannot be under direct sunlight. ????WHHHAAATT. The LCD screen goes bad and kind of defeats the purpose of a work radio when most normal people work outside or even BBQ outside and needs a radio for the outside. So I have to cover the LCD screen so it does not get ruined. January 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Radio Very nice! Works great and lots of features. Would recommend. July 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stereo. Love the 360 sound. Plug and play. Works great. Use it on the jobsite and for movies in the woods while camping. July 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great radio/MP3 player for the garage/pole barn !!!!!!!!!!! Very convenient and multifunctional for projects at home. Easy to carry around. July 10, 2014
