It's a great accessory, gets the job done in no time , easy to use, easy to install, save a lot of time, just a little too pricey, but at the end worthy

Have several areas of thinset grout that need to be removed/replaced. So far it is working well even though it is not for thinset. Have worn out mills and grinders without getting as much done.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by CES69JEN great in the corners, poorly in-between the floor tiles
The blade worked great in the corners. It fell apart in-between the floor tiles. The carbide flakes started peeling / falling off a good 30minutes into its use.
It was clear in the first 5 minutes that the hybrid blade was not going to "cut it" long term. The construction of the hybrid is weak. There is a big difference in the effectiveness of removing the grout between the hybrid and the "grout removal" blade.
Compare both and you'll notice the layers of carbide on the hybrid is very light...no wonder that bare metal was starting to show. I attached a photo of it.
I returned it to HD for a refund. I took the refund and bought another. Yes I did. I need it for my second bathroom makeover. Ill keep it for the 90 only.

This worked great for about 4 feet of grout removal. After that the abrasive portion was worn off and it did nothing. A very high price for something that worked for such a short period of time.

It's a nice tool / bit.  It is.  It works nicely in the corners.  I havent have had to work with thinset yet.  So, I cant speak for the flat surface.  However, it's the grout work in between the floor tiles where this tool looses one of the "3 in 1".  The grit / flakes broke loose after an hours work.  The job was 60% complete before I started using this bit.  So, I noticed quickly that it wasnt as effective in the grind.  I reverted back to the grout 'specific' bit to finish all non 90 areas.  The right angle did its job 100%.
Disclaimer: Â Im a DIY. Â This is my first attempt at grout refinish and first with the Bosch Osc tool line. Â
p.s. Â Im unable to upload a photo of the piece. Â
