Cut dry wall quickly and smoothly. Seemed to overheat when cutting wood, but I may have been putting a bind on the blade once the cut became deep. I use Bosch blades and prefer carbide tipped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best blade there is i have beaten this thing to death and it still keeps going, i had burned through 3 of the competitors cheap blades before buying this, i have done twice as much cutting and it still works like new, don't let the $25 price tag intimidate you, i spent almost $40 on 3 blades that failed, trust me in the long run it is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better then the Rigid Default Blade I recently purchased the Rigid oscilating tool combo kit (the one with interchangable heads). The blade itself made me really wonder if i need to return the tool. Something to note is that the in store displays, are on drywall, the softest stuff there is. It's like cutting into thick air. Any other wood (pine, ceder, trex, particle board, etc) will give that blade a hard time. It will literally be a 2 second long pull of the trigger, and the cut will start smoking. This blade has the same problem as the rigid default (comes with the tool) blade, but it takes about twice as long (roughly 4 seconds, which is maybe 2inches long and 1/8th of an inch deep) to start smoking. Basically you need a technique to overcome the overheating. What u need to do is cut a shallow line on the path u want. Then the rest of the cut, u will be twisting the tool, so that more then one part of the blade is on the cut, and the part that just hit gets rotated out for a chance to breathe. It's not too hard, and i prefer it for making wholes, over a router or something that gets me covered in wood shreds/saw dust. It's a fairly slow and delicate process, but doable with a bit of practice. I realized this technique this morning and have already mastered it. The only thing that could be better about this blade, is if the part of the circle that stops and goes inward to the mount, had teeth on it. If you cut a square out of something, the corners u will have to break off, then go back again. Since the blade leaves a round edge, and not a flat one. They could've easily fixed this by putting teeth on that edge, but for whatever reason they didnt. If you have the rigid tool, get this blade. yes it's 1/4th the price of that entire powertool, but it'll cut 200% more, 200% faster. p.s. this blade is 1/8th in thick, the site has it listed at 7/8 in... typo i guess. that'd be a fat blade!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Always have this handy This cutting blade for the rigid job max tool I have makes it a perfect pairing- It cuts quickly and does not deflect much so your cuts are nice and clean- It holds its edge better than other blades I have used-
