Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Robert Bosch Wheels Stink!
After reading the review of the Bosch CET4-20W, I have to add: I bought a Bosch 4100DG-09 table saw and both wheels go flat regularly. That's a VERY bad thing for worksite use. Here's the real killer: the wheels must be REMOVED to add air because Bosch puts the air valve facing the frame where a chuck can't get to it. (and because the wheel hubs are offset you can not reverse the wheels on the axles). Did I mention that the wheels are WAY too small for hauling things around uneven construction sites?
Save money. buy un-wheeled models of Bosch "portables" and add your own, bigger, foam-filled wheels,
or look for another manufacturer who cares about the small details.

i have this compressor pass 2 month and this thing is well design as i work in costruction over 10 years most of the compressors gets rusted and gets hole in them somehow cuz drain its not in center and theres some water in the tanks at all times but not with this one cuz of the great drain system that everytime you drain it it takes all the water out from the tanks and engine its self its a beast it runs so little and soo quite with the pressure it produce is awesome and double outlet that its in front and easy to operate cuz its on solid surface get bosch or go home

Great compressor. Works hard (quickly recovers pressure) and moves around easily with its attached wheels. Not too noisy when used outside. Can't speak to longevity as I just got it, but some far a couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Quite (when operating), Quick (when filling up) and Quality (all around). I have owned this compressor for about 1yr and have used it almost daily. I did the recommended break in and check and change the oil periodically. This thing runs like a champ. There is a big difference in performance with this compressor compared to the competition, I know this from experience with the other brands. I do agree with the other reviews that this compressor does not like temperatures below 30 degrees when initially starting it. Although I will say that as time goes on and the more it breaks in, it does seem to start a little better when cold. I do have a 12 gauge extension cord that I use specifically for this compressor otherwise it will blow the breaker when cold. On cold days I will sit there and manually warm it up by turning it on and off a few times before the breaker pops to get the oil flowing a little. Never once has this compressor not been able to start for me and I live in New England with long cold winters.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DavidM Great jobsite compressor
We had 4 of these in operation on one day for a job I had last year. All four works flawlessly. They are not break your ear drums kind of loud. They're not quiet, but they won't send you home deaf either. The controls are easy to find and accurate. My only complaint is that the air filled tires popped one more than one of the compressors. Solid tires would be better, but luckily compressed air to refill the tires was easy enough to find.

Air compressor best design feature is ease of blowing down tanks. It has good maneuverability and handle folds down out of the way. Overall a nice compressor, except for a higher noise level than I had wanted.

It appears well made, however I can not understand why they would design it with the valve stems for the tires on the inside of the rims where you cannot get to them if the tires need inflating without taking the tires off. Apparently the design staff never owned one or they would have put the valve stems facing out!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dallaspilot Compact design; fast recharge
In my crowded garage/workshop, this unit fits well with a small footprint and easily accessible outlet and regulator. I particularly like that the handle folds forward over the tanks to move completely out of the way and keep the overall unit short. There is a sturdy locking pin for when you want to use the handle. The frame is such that the unit can be easily lifted from a single point, which has a rubber handle. It is 85 pounds or so, but "easily" means you can lift it staight up and the unit will not swing and stays level.
In use, the compressor recharges very quickly, which is great.
On the downside, 4 gallons at 120psi go faster than I expected, prompting the compressor to start, with more corresponding noise than I expected.
Overall, this seems better designed than the other units I looked at. I also like that the compressor is oil lubricated (change after 50 hours of compressor run time). I expect longer life and better service than my earlier experience with dry lubricated pumps.
