Customer Reviews

6.5 Amp Corded Electric 1/2 in. High Speed Variable Speed Drill/Driver with Keyed Chuck and Auxiliary Handle is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great drill but both mine had rust on the chuck Great drill! Nice balance and excellent power. 850 rpm top speed is perfect for larger bits. Side handle has come loose a few times. It is nylon/plastic. I have ordered two of these drills and both came with rust on the chuck. Not sure how long these have been laying about in the warehouse but metal parts are usually coated during manufacture to avoid surface rust. Disappointing for a brand new drill. Home Depot won't just send out a replacement either. You either return it and order another one or they recommended that I call Bosch and get a replacement chuck and swap the chucks out myself. Seems like a lot of self-service for a brand new drill. Awesome drill, disappointing surface rust and a terrible questionable policy.
