Is the dust collection hose compatible with the Bosch VAC09A vacuum?
Asked by: Jane
Thank you for your question. The hose that is included with the VAC090A has an adapter that is a friction fit and it fits directly into the sander. It may take some pressure to attach together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great sander period I do a lot of different types of wood working and deck building, this sander can do it all. The rough and fine modes are great to be able to change back and forth from depending on the task at hand. Buy this sander you will not be sorry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I purchased this sander 3 years ago and it is just awsome, It can't be beat in the little time it takes to sand rough boards. I also use it to polish my car and peoples headlights. It is a must sander for serious DYI and professionals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Monster Clever Machine My VW Scirocco 1986 makes me admire and trust German Engineered tools and coo coo clocks... The 1250DEVS at speed 6 on turbo mode will make you see how 6.5 amps deliver... Brutal torque that at Max capacity, yet the speed wheel gradually gets dozens of speed between numbers... The foam disc perfect for applying lots of pressure and it is super strong, without damage a after a few aluminum conrner strokes... Velcro is also super strong. Placement of hands have a perfect grip. Long cable. After hooking up a vaccum saw it worked great. I must get a longer and more flexible vaccum tube... I was confident of a great product, but it 1250DEVS exceeded my expectation big time...I save a lot of time, and that I enjoy a lot... JEMPL

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sander I bought this sander to replace two other older Bosch sanders which I loved but could no longer get parts for. Happy with the Bosch brand, I found the 1250 DEVS online and received it about 6 weeks ago. I've only used it a few times, but it performs better than the two it replaced and it has a nice feature of quick removal of stock that I like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Real Workhorse A real tool for real work. Sander doesn't bog down when you apply force like some lesser amperage models. A little heavy when you're working vertically or even overhead —I'm sanding the bottom of a boat— but still well balanced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from home owner I had to sand 154 sq ft of southern yellow pine floor. I've never used the commercial sanders before and I was afraid of using them. The 1250DEVS worked perfect for that small footage. The sanding dust pickup worked well also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great tool the Bosch DM-ROS is a great tool if you want to remove a massive amount of stock. When sanding with 80 grit, in turbo mode, you really have to have a firm hold on it. I will compare it to a belt sander, because it really gives you a work out. This is not a one handed tool. I also have worked with a Festool DM-ROS, they are comparable but there price isn't. The Bosch is about $200 cheaper. I didn't find that there was much difference in the stock removal rate. I Have had this tool for about a year now and I have abused it, slightly. It probably has about 400 hours on it now and it still runs great. I have had to replace the pad but, I have never got more than a year out of any pad. The cord length is great, and the dual mode saves a lot of time. I also have the ridged DM sander and it doesn't like anything less than 80 grit paper it just doesn't have the power that the Bosch or Festool have. I replaced the ridged sander with the Bosch.
