Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great duty cycle, hard worker, very rugged Great all-day duty grinder. We've had it for years and it's a workhorse. We recently had a problem where the current draw jumped up to about 22amps, I think it's a run capacitor and we'll take it in for service after this job is over. But even with this it runs all day. I recommend buying the 18sg-7 guard to get rid of the dust, it's expensive but you need it. Home Depot also sells a good paint scraper but they keep it in the tool rental area of the store - diamabrush - it gets paint of concrete well. Watch the RPMs on the blade you buy, make sure they exceed the speed of this grinder. I think the handle is perfect, keeps vibration down and if you're wearing gloves you can use it for a long time. Yes, you have to push the trigger forward then squeeze but you don't want this massive thing to go off unintentionally. This is a serious, powerful tool. As always please wear ear protection, eye protection and get a good respirator and not just a mask, especially working with concrete. (No, I don't work for Bosch, I just make sure the people who work for me don't get hurt) August 12, 2015
