Thank you for your question. Our SDS-Plus Carbide rotary hammer bits would be best for drilling into concrete. We do offer a variety of sizes depending on the diameter hole and depth that you need to drill. Here is an example: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Bosch-1-2-in-x-6-in-SDS-Plus-Bulldog-Xtreme-Rotary-Hammer-Drill-Bit-HCFC2081/202242773

Answer:
The best drill bits Ive used with mine are the SDS Bosch bits. Half inch rebar needs a half inch drill bit to your desired length. Be sure to let the machine do the work and set it to hammer plus spin on the rotary hammer.

Customers, and apparently Bosch reps, are sometimes confused by the naming of this tool: Bosch 1 1/8" Bulldog Extreme "Max".
This tool uses the SDS-Plus sized bits - NOT - the SDS-Max sized bits.
If you buy an SDS-Max bit - it will not fit your 1 1/8" Bulldog Extreme Max.
For this project I bought the SDS-Plus 3/4" x 10" Viper Flat Chisel (with bracing ribs).
It did the job.
Happy customer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It is one of my many Bosch tools they are all great . made my project very easy I am glade i went to Home Depot , which I am a Bosch guy and it was so easy drilling through concrete, I truly love my drill LOve it. , thank you german engineers for the masterpiece. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Packs a punch! Ripped up a 1000sqft of tile in no time at all! Very impressed and satisfied! Would recommend it to anyone for any drilling or chiseling needs. May 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice drill I am a concrete contractor. I had the original Bulldog drill for 15 years. It drilled thousands of holes. It finally died. I purchased the rh228vc as a replacement. It drills great. I chose this drill because it was more powerful than the 11255vsr and it is made in Germany.... Like my old one. Hope I get another 15 years out of this one. The case could be a bit more. It's pretty flimsy. But I didn't buy it for the case. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Total Labor Saver I bought this rotary hammer to break up masonry beds and tile in older bathrooms. This thing worked like a charm. Saved hours of swinging a sledge hammer. Ended up taking 1780 pounds of concrete and tile out of that second floor bathroom. I then bought a chipping bit an removed about 40 SF of time from a basement slab in about 30 minutes including clean up. It also drills holes for Tapcons into concrete with almost zero effort. I was using my Makita 18V cordless hammer drill to drill many of these holes and it had to be hard on those batteries. I would recommend this to a DIYer that does a lot of hammer drilling or a small contractor that needs to put in tons of concrete anchors. October 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tough little machine! For a little hammer drill, this equipment packs a punch! I highly recommend it for all your concrete and Masonary hammer drilling as well as any small demolition. April 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool Had to drill weep holes into the bottom of my retaining wall. Using 1 1/4" bit, drilled the holes in no time flat. This is a fantastic tool to have. April 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hammer drill not drilling? You need this one! My 7amp hammer drill could not do the job and it wore me out. Entire weekend wasted. This drilled more holes in an hour than the whole weekend. SDS is the way to go.....I had large aggragate rock to drill through as well. If the egyptions had this it would have taken 40 days to build the pyriamid instead of 40 years. Home depot even matched an unbeatable price. It was crazy! Thanks Bosch. October 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is the right tool for the job!!! I purchased this rotary hammer after being frustrated with my hammer drill's ability to drill 3/4" holes in foundation concrete. I have used my DeWalt hammer drill multiple times to drill into masonry with, in my opinion, subpar results. After making this upgrade to a real rotary hammer, I was completely satisfied with the difference and disappointed that I thought a combination hammer drill was even comparable to a rotary hammer. I spent over 2 hours trying to drill three holes with the hammer drill, beginning with a new bit. I then punched three holes in less than 5 minutes (set-up and all) with the Bosch rotarty hammer. This Bosch Rotary Hammer is very light and ergonomic for the power it possesses. I opted for the D-handle because most of my intense masonry drilling will be in the vertical direction. SDS style bits are worth the upgrade as well. December 30, 2011
