I only used one of these bits twice and the tip is totally flat and is useless. These were very expensive to last such a short time. They actually didn't last as long as the much cheaper bits I usually buy.

Good masonry bits. I've only used twice, so hard to tell how long they will hold up, but they have worked well thus far.

The bit set was a good buy I have had about 4 sets that I have worn out over the years and I keep replacing them with the same set. I like them and have been happy with them.

My experience with drilling into concrete is that it destroys drill bits....these held up better than others I've used. My son-in-law tends to over-tighten everything, and in this case he tended to put too much downward pressure on the drill! The result is that the 3/16" bit- the smallest in this set- now drills elliptical holes.....oh well. Got the job done.

Bits broke every time used. These bits were suggested by The Home Depot Associate. Very disappointed!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LILass Sharp set but could use more skinny bits
This was my first experience with a masonry home. I used these to drill holes to insert screws for all the art, mirrors and hardware in a small solid concrete cottage.
You can clearly and see and feel how sharp these bits are when examining them. That said, they dulled pretty quickly, however, I don't know if any other masonry bit could last any longer as it's just the nature of the beast. I made it through the jobs (~14 holes for wall anchors and Tapcon screws), but the bits were certainly spent by the time I was done. The tip is quite pointed and easy to keep centered when starting a hole.
I used a basic corded 3/8” shank rotary drill. The anti-slip tabbed design of the bit’s shank easily fit my drill. I made manual hammering motions, which helped, and the bits could handle it. I found the best trick was to use one of the two smallest bits to make the hole, then it was easy to widen it out with the larger size needed. If I tried to drill larger holes directly, even with the 3/16" or 1/4” bits, it was practically impossible to get the hole drilled deep. But of course I totally wore out the skinny bits by the time I was done, so now I know that a set that contains many skinny bits and nothing larger than 1/4 “ would be ideal for my particular purposes.
I would buy these bits again, but perhaps individually since I didn’t need the two larger bits.
