I had to hang a shower curtain rod at my new house. I decided to go the screw in route instead of the tension rod just because it is more permanent. I realized that I would have to drill through tile to install the rod. I went to Home Depot and found these bits. The price was very good. I may never have to use them again so I'm glad they didn't cost a fortune. It took some time to get through the tile but it was a nice clean hole and it didn't crack. Just keep the speed low and cool off the bit with water every 30 seconds or so and you will be good.

Works very well. I've used this bit set a few times now and have no complaints.

They broke easily. We returned it and the next ones broke just as fast could not even finish drilling with them. ☹️

I am drilling ceramic wall tile, i get about 2 holes per bit then they burn up, one got so hot the bit went soft and bent. these would be great if they were $1 each and advertised as one time disposable bits but the aren't.

Carbide tips are weak. Used constant stream of coolant during drilling. 2 of the 4 broke on first use.

Absolute garbage product. Wore out 2 bits on 5 and a half holes. Light $15.00 on fire and you'd be better off. Garbage.

But this wan't it. These bits are well made but seemingly ineffective. After several hours of trying to use these bits to make a hole in porcelain tile, I gave up and bought a Montana bit. It complete the same hole in 2 minutes.
