I previously had a quite expensive saw stand that had support arms, but was of the saw horse variety. Meaning, 4 folding legs and no wheels. It worked fine, but the issue was once it was set up I never felt like tearing it down and pulling the saw off and storing it somewhere.
This solution is epic for me. It works very well, the wheels are quite heavy duty, and the entire frame is very solid. I have to say the construction was actually better than I expected with very beefy parts. I found it easy to assemble and place the saw (which happens to be a Dewalt). The opening and closing operation is a snap. This is exactly what I was looking for. Not cheap, but worth it.

Assembly takes a while, but the result is a sturdy and very easy to operate saw stand. I wanted something that would stay in one piece and would be easy to set up and take down for my new Festool Kapex chop saw. Checked out all the others, and this Bosch at Home Depot's price was my choice. It's a little heavy, but I suppose it needs to be to be sturdy. It sets up and takes down in one motion, making it a pleasure compared to the stands I have had through the years. I can remove the saw in a moment with the attaching rails and return it to the bench. I needed to drill out the kapex mounting holes and get metric cap screws to fit. So far I am quite pleased.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FredDude bosch t4b gravity saw stand
bought for use with a bosch 5312 mitre saw. package arrived shredded. while unpacking, extra attention was paid to inspecting components for damage. paint and unpainted aluminum sections are scratched. the outfeed/support arms are advertised as 18" or 18' long. fully extended on both sides, supports are actually 10 feet apart. wheels are foam filled, not solid or pneumatic as others claim. assembly took 30 minutes. attachment mechanism between saw and stand is very secure. after mounting, the blade had to be re-aligned. the rig weighs about 160 pounds, so tossing it into the pickup each afternoon is impractical. cuts with precision. locks open and closed securely.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Toolboy This stand makes a large saw easily portable, sets up quickly ,is stable.
Good stand overall. The gravity rise feature makes set up of heavy saws quick and less strenuous. Stand is stable. The sliding side supports are convenient. My dings on value are only because I think for the premium price for Bosch, I expect a little more attention to detail in design and execution of details on the stand. Pivot joints should have sleeve bushings instead of not fully tightened bolts. I am a Bosch fan and own many Bosch power tools, so I know they have good designers. However, all the saw stands seem to made the same way regardless of which name is on them. Still, overall this is the easiest stand to set up and move as the wheels are large. I highly recommend this stand.

Had to drill a few holes because the yellow portable table saw I had didn't line up with any existing holes but this thing works just like it's supposed to. Turn the handle push down and it's up just as fast as you read this sentence. Turn the handle lift up and its ready to store. I just wish they would have had this when I originally looking a table saws. I would have bought the whole Bosch package saw stand and all. I bought the other Bosch gravity stand for my 12" sliding compound Miter saw. It is also awsome.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BookemT It is a perfect match to the Bosch miter saw but DISCONTINUED
Too bad Bosch decided to discontinue this miter saw stand. I purchased the last one Home Depot had, it gets lost in shipping, I buy another one (last one in the country) and all of a sudden this second one arrives. I returned it to HD so, hopefully, it will end up in the right hands. It works like a charm, easy to set up and operate. I have both the table saw and miter saw on these "gravity" stands and am now completing a 2-month cabinet project. My saws just roll out of the garage in a minute or two and I am back at work on the project. The extended arms come out very easily as they are a high grade of stainless steel piping and raise and lower to accept very long pieces of trim putting them at the exact level for cutting. Bosch is making a terrible mistake of discontinuing this item. If you can find one, grab it quick.

I'm very frugal, so the cost of this item almost kept me from ordering it; however, the 12" saw is a double-handful and I gave in. Glad I did, because this stand is as well-engineered as most other Bosch products and makes it simple to move and set up the saw. The extension arms are great if you don't overload them and it's hard to imagine the 12" saw without the stand. If only they had included a "jump in my truck" feature.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LADawg Mobile and sturdy
I bought this to mount my 10" sliding arm miter saw on. I need to be able to move it in and out of my garage without always taking time to set up and this does the trick. The frame is very sturdy and the wheels are large enough to handle uneven ground. It's just a well thoughtout piece of equipment. I set it up out of the box with no help in less than an hour.
