Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just as important as the Bosch saw! This stand is extremely sturdy, versatile, accommodates quick adjustments to change lengths of cuts, etc., which saves so much time and frees up bench space which can be used to house other tools or the project at hand. The functionality makes this a worthwhile investment. August 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Miter Saw Stand Overall I'm happy with my purchase. The only complaint I have about this stand is the wheels. They make noise as I move it. I would say a better value would be the delta miter saw stand from lowes but they didn't have the extension on the stand like the Bosch. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best stand I could find for my Bosch GSM12SD Miter Saw This stand is the best you will find out there, whether for your Bosch specific saw, or other brands that will fit it. (Not sure why people gave bad reviews when their saw did not fit) However, because it's the best, you will pay for it. I was fortunate enough to get this on sale and love the quality/construction. As a person who is meticulous when researching different products and testing them out, this is by far the best option I could find. I tried multiple other brands and was less than impressed with the stability. I also tried Bosch's less portable version which is a straight beam which is longer and has small wheels on the end. That is fine if you aren't moving it around that much and is just as stable as this gravity stand. Personally, I move it around a lot and also up and down stairs. The large wheels and ease of mobility are unmatched in this design. The brackets to attach the saw are much bulkier than the other brands, but that's because these are all metal and not cheap plastic. These will never break. However, if weight is something that matters, please know that these brackets make the saw heavier than others when trying to remove and install onto the beam. Didn't matter to me because you can store it while attached and not have to worry about it coming off. I will be adding skid protection to the base where it touches the ground when stowed and also to the back slats for moving up and down stairs. This is not a necessity, but fro someone like me, I want it to look new for my lifetime. In closing, please try this and I do not think you will be disappointed. May 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Help guard against road rash on the bottom base touching the ground while in folded mode As Fatman suggests, get a piece of 1 1/2" inside dia tubing, and cut a 3/4" groove in it lengthwise. But before I squeezed in on the tube, I wrapped the tube area all the way to the rounded shoulders, with 20MILPVC (by UPC) black sticky tape. I did this for 2 reasons: 1. to provide a waterproof coating should the plastic tubing crack or rotate to a position where the groove in the tubing allowed the base to scratch along the bottom and therefore prone to rust. 2. to thicken the base so that when the tubing is popped on, it's tight and won't rotate at all. I had to cut the groove such, that it was a bit tough to squeeze open before popping on, but then mounted nice and tight on the base of the stand. Came out great. My only concern at this point: After reading many reviews, I'm hopeful that if there is a parts problem, that I won't experience the lack of support and/or unavailability of certain parts that a number of reviewers referred to. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by T4B Road rash cure I just purchased this stand and already love the ease of setup and handling. The only thing I saw in the reviews that people seem not to like is the road rash on the frame when in dolly-ing mode. That is very easily cured by using a piece of 1-1/2" ID pvc split lengthwise by about a 3/4" gap. It's easier to measure the length needed then cut in half and split. It will be easier to saw the 3/4" gap, as well as snap it over the frame. Great protection and only a few minutes to do. I used scrap gray electrical pvc. I tried uploading a photo, but it won't load no matter the size I choose. January 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Simple to assembly the stand and mount to saw. Well made and sturdy frame. Easy to move around and fold up when not in use. June 2, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stand with one major flaw I own a Construction company in Tulsa, Ok. I purchased the T4B miter saw stand. It worked perfectly well until i had to take the saw off for small interior job. As i flipped the mounting bracket on the left side, the locking device which was made of cast broke off. As i researched the saw for a replacement part, i noticed that they had changed the design to match the right mounting bracket. Which tells me that there was a design flaw in the original bracket. The new design shows the knob mechanism on both brackets. December 1, 2014
