These work very well and are made well. We are on our second one and the first one still works great after probably 7 years.

I use this tool for a multitude of projects ranging from deck installations and moldings through to a custom rabbit hutch! It pays for itself many times over in less wasted time doing trial cuts and rework. Very accurate - probably better than I can cut! Simple and effective.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LarryA All angles are not 90's or 45's ...
I have an older version of the DAF220K. I don't have to utilize it very often, but when I had to measure a 111,000+- square foot two story church, essentially by myself, with more odd angles than I care to remember, it and my DLR130 laser measurer saved the day. I simply could not have measured it without this angle finder. All angles are not 90's or 45's and you can't always get one leg and the hypotenuse or both legs. I highly recommend this product for anyone interested in real accuracy, under those conditions when you simply cannot do it any other way. This accuracy is data you must have to take back to your drawing program and expect your drawing to "square". When surveyors, engineers and architects go out on a project like this church, they take an entire crew. When appraisers go out, they just take a surly attitude. This tool will turn you into at least two people.

I have owned this tool for many years and I use it on every trim job I have, from running base to hanging doors to complex crown...it is quick, accurate and rugged...everything a carpenter needs. And, I find more uses for it on every job. It's never far from my hand on any task that demands accurate angles...and which jobs do not demand this?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stairguyup14 Fine measuring tool
A good tool for measuring angles. One set of a stair angle and all cuts are determined. The crown angle feature gives confidence to a novice and speed to a pro. Th case is a must as danger lurks everywhere for digital tools on jobsites.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Luke time and material saver
I needed to add ogee's to my house and tried many tools and angle mesuring tool and always lost time and many length of material to error and trials. But with this tool, to date I have the right angles to cut and this saved me money and is easy to use. The only drawback I had at the beginning is the understanding of the instruction booklet that I felt hard to understand.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Glenn Great, well built, precise but pricey angle finder
I have tried many other angle finders and this one, although more expensive, is clearly better built.
I admit that initially it is confusing to understand exactly which angle you're measuring and how to apply that measurement to what you're doing but this is true of any angle finder. Once you wrap your head around each measuring mode it is clear how to use each measurement. Also keeping in mind that any miter saw is set to zero to cut a 90 degree angle helps significantly. All this is well covered in the instructions.
It would be helpful if the extension for obtuse angles was built in. I fear I'm going to lose it or break it when installing it.
