Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect set of bits! I'm very happy with these drill bits. As a woman, I need an extra bit of muscle to do the tasks I do and these were just perfect. I have used 3 of the bits so far, one on thin wall plaster and sheet rock, one on wood, and the other on a concrete block. The 3/8" bit tore through a 2" concrete block no longer than 5 inches without cracking it - just left a perfect hole to drive a landscape nail through. The others put perfectly round holes with no chipping of the walls or plaster. The length of each bit is tops over any I have, making them keepers in my toolkit. My projects are mostly yard and home and these might seem overkill to some, but for me they add the needed muscle I lack! April 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing bit set! One would think that a bit like this, that is, a bit that works on everything from wood, to tile, to concrete, couldn't possibly do a great job on all, but this line from Bosch rocks. I recently installed some shutters on my metal siding atop concrete apartment building. I didn't even use a hammer drill (Milwaukee Fuel), and was amazed at how easily this bit penetrated the concrete. Highly recommend! December 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding flexibility There's a lot to like here. This has now become my "go to" set of bits. I like the long length. At the loss of some precision, it allows deeper drill holes and is useful in odd situations such as gaps in the walls. The flexibility to go between hammer and drill mode is great. With the flick of a switch on my drill, I can switch out. (See video.) Overall, the bits have a sturdy, quality feel to them. Nothing cheap here. Finally, I like the package, which serves as a case. It hangs on my pegboard ready to go. The bits are secured with a screw on top. March 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by very useful in some situations They do what they claim: drill almost anything. I got reasonably clean holes in wood and heavy sheet metal, and the same bit went into brick and patio stone with no problem. Not as precise as twist drills, but fine for rough work. The point is like a masonry bit, rather than a sharp cone, so it can 'walk' a little when penetrating a surface; a small starter hole or indentation with a punch would help. You're supposed to use these only in a variable speed hand drill and start at low RPMs. Unfortunately you're not supposed to use them in a drill press - probably because it's a fixed speed - but maybe if you set the press slow it would be ok. These could great when drilling something difficult, or through a combination of materials, i.e. drywall over a stud, or through a stuccoed exterior wall. June 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what I needed Great to have one drill bit for different materials. Especially useful for drilling through wood and then into concrete for fastening systems - no need to stop and change bits, saves time. December 10, 2013
