Bought three of the cap staplers to put roof underlayment and house wrap up, only one stapler lasted a full day the other two lasted about an hour. The driver breaks off and comes flying out of the tool looking at it I would have thought that one of the plastic parts would have been the problem but no. It also has a tendency to jam... A lot.

The roof gun works even though I haven't used it yet. I know they do from experience even though I use the green guns which are the best. The cap stapler miss fires a lot. I wish mine did twice every thousand like another reviewer but it doesn't fixing it on the fly is easy but I would rather spend more money for better gun. Just not perfected yet. For roofing where it's speed or get off the roof this is not for you.

Haven't used the cap stapler but will before winter gets here. The roofing nailer on the other hand, I put to work! Used it last weekend and it did amazing! Roof about 20 square with it and only had a couple jams ( and those were from the nail wire screwed up). Preformed a lot better than expected! Almost every coil of nails it would shoot every nail! Get it!!

Put both to use right away and they worked great. The cap stapler made putting on house wrap fun !! Easy to use and not heavy. Once in a while the cap would not engage all the way but use the pointed end of a nail and slide it in the chamber and keep going. This happened a couple of times in approximately 1500 caps. No problems with the RN-46. Shipping was prompt and earlier than expected.
