This nailer has been out for years. At one time Bostitch sold an optional dial adjustable contact trip Part # DC3. It worked great on siding and decks (back when we still nailed decks). The DC3 was all metal, not the cheap plastic tip you get on today's nailers. One drawback was that the nailer could not be used for toe nailing. The DC3 was all metal, not the cheap plastic tip you get on today's nailers. One drawback was that the nailer could not be used for toe nailing. I see that these nailers are now sold under the Dewalt label, you'd think they would have added a push button depth adjustment as on most other Dewalt nailers. The N80CB is one of the toughest and reliable coil guns that I've used in 30 years of carpentry. Just give them a couple drops of oil twice a day (not a pint once a month) and invest in a good airline filter and they will run for years. Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thumbs Up In my opinion, best coil nailer out there! No jamming, sturdy and dependable. I would recommend this to anyone in the market. February 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just as advertised. It took a little longer than expected and I don't understand why is not sold in any Florida stores, but over all is a great product and a good price. February 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gret Tool I have been using the Bostitch Coil Framing nailer for two years now, It is comfartable to use, reliable and resists jamming. I also have a stick framing gun, but prefer to coil nailer as it is easier to swing in tight places. Completly satisfied and fully recommend this product. Have a great day Ron March 13, 2007
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great product for the price Have used earlier versions of this nailer and the changes made to balance and weight are great. Only issue noticed is nails driven on angle (toe nailing) do not fully sink to depth as when nailing on flat surface. February 27, 2007
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great gun for sheathing I don't think you could find a better gun for nailing down sheets of plywood. The only cons I can think of are its weight, the gun is probably between 10 – 12 pounds loaded up. July 23, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by powerfull tool cant beat it for a coil nailer. will get the job done. September 4, 2012
