Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works good just as expected I had used a similar model of this nailer about 3 or 4 years ago. Based on that use I purchased this model which can use a slightly longer nail and is a little more powerful. It has worked very well so far. I am currently building a small wooden structure approx. 6' x 3' x 3.5' high and have alternated between using 3" and 2" nails with 2x4's and 2x3's and 7/16th OSB -- so far no misfires or jams. Depth adjustment works. The instructions said it came with the gray trigger installed and could be changed to the black trigger (however it actually came through with the black trigger installed). I changed it over to the gray trigger for complete control of when it fires a nail. In this mode you do have to be particular to set the tip without your finger on the trigger for it to actuate which is what the instructions indicated. March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Contractor tough! OK. A little background on what I do. I am not just a homeowner or DIY'er. I am a construction professional by trade and I do this for a living. It supports my family and I and is not just a hobby. Just bought this gun after throwing away a comparable Hitachi nailer that kept jamming and misfiring. I must say this thing is amazing. I love how it feels well balanced and is easier to fit in smaller spaces than the traditional stick nailer. I like how I can set it down on its face when I'm working, I just grab it and go, no laying down and picking up. A bonus feature that I did not expect, nor do the write-ups or instructions tell you about, is that It comes with a rafter hook that is very well-placed. The only complaint I have about this is that it didn't come with a case, not really a big deal but I've heard that rust tends to be a problem on the coast so those people will want to keep tools in cases. Cant go wrong with this gun. December 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Husband loves it! Great tool, gets the job done!! Good price, it is a well built construction tool. December 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stanley Bostitch Bostitch High-Power Coil Framing Purchased this nail gun after speaking to Home Depot tool rental employees as they had recommended the gun. Framed in a small crawl space access point and the gun worked flawlessly even using 2 1/4" galvanized nails through stacked 2" x 4" studs. No jams encountered in contrast to one of the previous reviews. So far, quite happy with this nail gun. No problems at all. July 21, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Framing nailer This nailer is great for framing but when it came to using 2in. galvanized nails for decking or fence boards it does not work very well. It works for the first couple of nails and then it jams. I had to rent another model coil framing nailer from Home Depot's tool rental. June 16, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This has sped up framing and sheathing jobs. Worth the price April 6, 2009
