Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to find replacement nails I've had this nailer for several years now and used it primarily for interior trim projects with no complaints. I am currently working on an exterior project using a lot of cedar and treated trim work. My preference would be a stainless steel fastener. So far I have had no luck finding a store that stocks a stainless steel fastener for this type of gun. There are plenty of options to buy for a DA style angled nailer but the Bostitch is an FN style nailer The difference between the FN and the DA nailers is the angle of the loader. It appears the FN style, which is a 25 degree angle is not a common style so retailers don't stock the stainless fasteners. After much searching locally and online, I was able to order them online thru Amazon. Definitely a big inconvenience. I would not have purchased this nailer had I known it was going to be such a hassle to buy nails for it. January 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Home Depot does not stock these nails Bought this nailer from Home Depot last year and the nailer works great. Problem is Home Depot DOES NOT carry the FN angled nails which makes the purchase completely worthless. January 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good buy I bought this online and am very pleased with the quality and value September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Finish Nailer I have had this finish nailer for about 3 years and it has performed flawlessly except for one instance and that was my own fault. I put in a row of finish nails upside down and the unit jammed. It came apart easily for repair and the jam up has had no long term effect on the gun at all. I dont know how many nails I have put through it but have gone through several boxes of mixed sizes and it just keeps going. Other than keeping it clean and oiled I dont do any other maintenance to it. One of the nice features is how light it is, very easy to handle, so light in fact my wife also uses it any chance she gets. A great tool. December 29, 2008
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Finishing Nailer Bostiitch finishing nailer was excellent. The gun is extremely light and maneuverable. The only thing I had problems with was getting finishing nails in the shorter length. The shortest ones I was able to find were two inches - a little long for some of my work. June 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Finish nailer Works great. Just can't get into some small areas due to size/design. June 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product w/great features Have used this nailer on 2 crown molding jobs so far and couldn't be happier. The gun handles very well and has some features that the others don't have. Have easily found the the FN nails(25 degree) at both Home Depot and Lowes as well. May 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just right I'm one of those people that reads every review and evaluates specs until I've exhausted every possible bit of help to make a decision. I purchased the gun to assemble an outdoor pet enclosure and it was excellent. The gun performed just like the reviews reported. It was light weight and never jammed. The gun is slightly bigger than the Hitachi, but Bostitch seems to add the potential for more power in their nailers. The smaller features are nice, but the performance is spot on. I will say that I have the 18ga Hitachi nailer, and the Hitachi NR83 Framing nailer, but Bostitch just made a better product on this one. October 1, 2013
