Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product Overall a good performer, sturdy and solid. Had to counter sick some of the nails but for a manual it did well. June 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Slow and steady, but reliable product This nailer does exactly what it's intended to do and very reliably. It only jammed once, and it was my fault. I removed the pin and it cleared right up. It took me about 4 days to put down 450 square feet, as my back couldn't take much more per day (mind you I'm 26). I'd recommend trying the pneumatic version if you intend to do any more square footage than I have. Another complaint is that you can't get too close to the wall with it, so I ended up using my pneumatic finish nailer for the first and last 4 courses of wood. July 8, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Old school, gets the job done Right!!! Manual with the ratchet feature making driving and setting the cleat easy. Only had about 3 jams in the entire room. Cleats are superior to staples ... I've absolutely NO creaking or squeaks. The set comes with mallet and carrying case. Easy to store and keep all parts together. Really solid construction and the mallet is outstanding. October 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Tool for a DIYer For someone doing their own work at their own pace, this is a great tool. It is easy to use and fairly consistent. It is not difficult to drive nails, and this will straighten out bowed pieces to line up the wood correctly. You will have the occasional nail that does not set right, but it is typically operator error. Just ensure you give the first blow a good hit and it works great. I plan on using this to complete more rooms with the 3 1/4 oak prefinished oak. April 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cheaper than renting and worked as expected we installed our own hardwood flooring in our livingroom. We thought about renting a nailer until we figured out that it would cost about the same as buying this one. We also plan on doing more rooms in our home which make it an even better investment. The nailer worked as expected. It's pretty straight forward. It did jam a few times, but was very easy to unjam. We atribute the jams to the type of hardwood, acacia, and unexperiance. Everything was high quality. The hammer and case are very nice. The only com is the price of the nails, they are very expensive. December 18, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Manual floor nailer The unit functioned as expected. The hammer and carrying case are satisfactory. March 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by works great Got it for laying 400 sqft of 3/4 oak. Sinks a cleat with one easy swing of the mallet. I like to take my time so the manual nailer is nice. Not doing this for a living. Solid construction, no hiccups in operation. October 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is an excellent product that does precisely what it says it will do. This is a substantial machine, strongly constructed and well designed to drive nails at a forty-five degree angle into the crotch of the tongue on tongue-and-groove wood flooring. It is activated manually and is very user friendly. I recommend it without qualification for 1/2 to 3/4 inch flooring. It requires the additional purchase of "L-style" #16 nails which are available in either 11/2 or 2 in lengths. A box of 1000 nails will fasten about 200 sq. ft. (10" spacing). September 2, 2011
