One of my co-workers used it a few times and broke it. When you use it properly it will work a lifetime. If you take care on it and use it for the job that it has to do it is the perfect tool. Other thing is.. My first one cost about $100 more, price is way down, that's a good thing. Little bit heavy in weight but it does a perfect job. I had with the "old" one maybe 2 or 3 times a jambed nail, used it almost daily. This is one of the better Bostitch products

Within minutes, I had it unpacked, installed the air line fitting, and was using it on some test 2x4's in my garage. Changing nothing, it was driving 3" nails perfectly, driving the heads just under the surface of the 2x4. I can't wait to use it for real! The power and control was amazing, I was using my 16 gallon upright compressor at 100 psi. I think this will be a great tool to have for many years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from reliable product I have had mine now for about 3 years. In reference to what a previous ratting said. I prefer wire or welded nail strips to paper or plastic. With this type on nailer, its almost impossible for the nailer to jamb due to nail miss-alignment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forget about it. My friend built over 90 decks last season with this gun. Any D.I.Y. guy will never need to buy another framing nailer after this. WELL worth the money. Fired 2 boxes of 1000 nails and NO misfires. Set to 90 PSI and send it....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good gun. Good value. I love this gun. I have owned three Bostitch framing nailers, and they all have performed very well. I am a custom home builder and remodeler, and sometimes my guns are used constantly for an entire 8 hour day. I was excited to find out that they finally put a framing hook on the gun to hold it to 1 1/2" thick lumber. But, after only about an hour of use, the plastic hook broke off !! They need to use metal like Bosch . . .
