CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Slow and steady, but reliable product This nailer does exactly what it's intended to do and very reliably. It only jammed once, and it was my fault. I removed the pin and it cleared right up. It took me about 4 days to put down 450 square feet, as my back couldn't take much more per day (mind you I'm 26). I'd recommend trying the pneumatic version if you intend to do any more square footage than I have. Another complaint is that you can't get too close to the wall with it, so I ended up using my pneumatic finish nailer for the first and last 4 courses of wood. July 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is an excellent product that does precisely what it says it will do. This is a substantial machine, strongly constructed and well designed to drive nails at a forty-five degree angle into the crotch of the tongue on tongue-and-groove wood flooring. It is activated manually and is very user friendly. I recommend it without qualification for 1/2 to 3/4 inch flooring. It requires the additional purchase of "L-style" #16 nails which are available in either 11/2 or 2 in lengths. A box of 1000 nails will fasten about 200 sq. ft. (10" spacing). September 2, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by works great Got it for laying 400 sqft of 3/4 oak. Sinks a cleat with one easy swing of the mallet. I like to take my time so the manual nailer is nice. Not doing this for a living. Solid construction, no hiccups in operation. October 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by nailer I purchased this nailer in part because of the cost rather than the more expensive pneumatic one. The only problem I have had is the stricker return spring got weak after a long time of use and I had to remove the spring and shim it with a spacer to put more tension on the spring for it to properly return to its up position. Other than that it worked as I expected it to. Worth the price I paid for it. July 30, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Manual exertion While this nailer does its intended job; it does take a fair amount of effort especially if your are not used to swinging a hammer. I used it to install about 500sf of brazilian cheery and it was quite a workout. You will definitely need a punch and pliers to deal with the partially driven and bent nails. It really isn't a bad purchase as long as you realize it is a manual nailer and all that it entails. If I had to do it all over again I would most likely rent the pneumatic model. September 29, 2012
